Today, I was digging into 1960s fashion pictures. Man, it’s a whole different world out there!

Getting Started
First off, I went straight to Pinterest. Typed in “1960s fashion” and boom! A ton of stuff popped up. I made a new board and started saving whatever caught my eye.
Diving Deeper
Then, I started noticing some patterns. The early 60s were still kind of holding onto the 50s vibe, but you could see things were starting to change. I read somewhere that World War II had a big impact on fashion, making things more practical and stuff. Also discovered an old flight suit from the late 50s/early 60s that looked pretty cool. There is a green/brown silk lining, but in the early sixties this was changed to the now famous rescue orange, That’s a new finding!
Exploring Different Sources
I didn’t stop at Pinterest, though. I started looking at old magazines and even some interior design stuff from the 60s. You wouldn’t believe the crazy mix of styles back then!
Making Connections
The more I looked, the more I realized how much the 1960s were a time of change. It wasn’t just about clothes; it was about everything – society, culture, politics. It’s all connected, you know? Oh, and get this – I found out that peaches and cottage cheese were like the avocado toast of the 60s. Insane, right?
Saving My Favorites
- Saving Pins: I made sure to save all the pictures I liked to my Pinterest board. I’ve got a pretty sweet collection going now.
- Taking Notes: I also jotted down some notes about the different styles and trends I was seeing.
- Organizing My Thoughts: I tried to organize my notes so I could remember what I learned.
It’s like being a fashion detective, piecing together the clues to figure out what people were wearing back in the day.

Anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to today. It’s been a blast from the past, and I’ve learned a ton. Maybe I’ll even try to rock some of these 60s looks myself!
