Well, well, well, look what we have here! 2020 clothing styles, huh? Time sure flies, seems like just yesterday we were all wearin’ them flapper dresses, now it’s all different.
Clothin’ in 2020
This year, I seen lots of folks, young and old, wearin’ all sorts of things. Bright colors, you know? Like them neon things, brighter than a firefly’s behind! And orange, like a whole bunch of oranges walkin’ around.
And hats! Big bucket hats, they call ’em. Reminds me of the buckets we used to use for milkin’ cows, but these are for your head. Funny, ain’t it?
What Young People Wore
Them young’uns, they got their own style. Baggy pants, big shirts, like they’re wearin’ their daddy’s clothes. Sneakers, big and chunky, like they’re gonna stomp grapes or somethin’. They call it streetwear.

And Nike, that’s a name I hear a lot. Must be popular with the youngsters. These kids and their brands.
Fancy Stuff
There’s also some fancy stuff. I seen some dresses, all see-through and black. Like them fancy ladies in the movies. Dior, Dolce Gabbana, that’s what they call ’em. Expensive, I bet.
And leather! Lots of leather, like buttery soft. Not like the old leather we used to make saddles with. This is different. Jackets, pants, even shirts made of leather.
Other Things I Seen
They got these things, yoga pants. Tight, like a second skin. And jeans, low cut, showin’ off their belly buttons. Not somethin’ I’d wear, but to each their own, I reckon.

Then there’s them ponchos. Like a blanket with a hole for your head. And skirt suits, like them business ladies wear. Lots of different things, I tell ya.
What Was In
They say simple is in. Some folks like it plain and simple. Good quality stuff that lasts. And then other folks, they like it all loud and colorful. Like a peacock, showin’ off all them colors. They call them two things minimalism and maximalism. Sounds fancy, don’t it?
And sports logos, those are popular. Like them baseball jackets, or jackets with them team colors. Color blocks, they say, squares of different colors all sewn together. Looks kinda like a quilt, but on a jacket.
I also saw some folks wearin’ those old-timey suits, like from those old movies. Miami Vice, I think they call it. Pink, blue, yellow, all them bright colors. Makes you think of candy, don’t it?
Shoes
And the shoes! Some of them are real fancy, with all them sparkly things on ’em. Loafers, they call ’em, you can just slip ’em on. No laces. And them sneakers, like I said, big and chunky. All kinds of shoes for all kinds of folks.
And you know what, some people like to wear these chains with their masks. Dainty mask chains they call them. Fancy, huh? Never thought I’d see the day when people would wear jewelry with their masks.
Well, that’s all I can think of right now. 2020, it sure was a year for clothes, that’s for sure. Lots of colors, lots of styles, somethin’ for everyone. It’s a whole new world out there, ain’t it? These new clothes, they sure are somethin’ else. Yep, fashion in 2020 was sure somethin’.
