Hey everyone, so today I wanted to draw something meaningful and I thought, why not try an “earth with people holding hands” drawing? It’s a cool concept, right? I mean, it’s all about unity and taking care of our planet.

First off, I started sketching a big circle for the Earth. Didn’t need to be perfect, just a rough outline to get started. Then, inside this circle, I drew the continents. Honestly, I wasn’t too worried about getting them exactly right, just wanted to give the general idea of land and water.
Next came the fun part – the people! I started drawing stick figures around the Earth, all different sizes, some taller, some shorter, to show diversity. It’s all about different folks coming together, you know? The key here was to make sure they were all holding hands, forming a chain around the globe. I drew some facing forward, some sideways, just to make it look more natural and dynamic.
Making it Colorful
- Earth: I used a mix of blues and greens for the Earth. You know, blue for the oceans and green for the land. I blended them a bit, just to make it look more Earth-like.
- People: For the people, I went a bit wild with colors. I used different shades to represent different skin tones, and for their clothes, I just picked whatever colors I felt like. It made the drawing look really lively and inclusive.
After coloring, I added some outlines to make everything pop. I used a black pen to go over the initial pencil lines. It really made a difference, the drawing looked way more defined.
Lastly, I took a step back to look at my work. It wasn’t a masterpiece, but I felt it captured the essence of what I was going for – a united world. And honestly, that’s what matters, right? It’s not about being perfect, it’s about conveying a message and enjoying the process.
So yeah, that was my little art project for today. Hope you guys like it! Maybe you can try it too, it’s pretty fun and it’s a nice way to think about the world and how we’re all in this together.
