Okay, so I’ve been getting into this whole “unsimulated sex” thing in movies lately. It’s pretty wild, right? Like, actual, real sex on screen, but not in a porn way. I decided to do some digging and see what it’s all about.

I started with the classics, obviously. Everyone says Pink Flamingos from 1972 was the first movie to go there. I haven’t watched it yet, but it’s definitely on my list. I did some research, and it seemed like it opened doors for other filmmakers.
Then, I found this movie called Rotting in the Sun. It came out in 2023. Apparently, it’s got a bunch of real sex scenes in it. It’s in English, which is good for me ’cause my other languages aren’t great. I watched some scenes, and let me tell you, it was intense. The lead actor, Kristine De Bell, and a bunch of porn actors were really going at it. Penetration and everything. No faking it there.
- I found a list of other movies that supposedly have real sex scenes too.
- There’s Little Ashes, Shortbus, and a bunch of movies by some dude named Bruce LaBruce.
- Sounds like I’ve got a lot more watching to do.
It’s kind of crazy to think about, isn’t it? These actors are really doing it on camera, for a movie that’s not even porn. I mean, it’s definitely not for everyone. There’s a lot of nudity and, you know, adult stuff, plus some rough language. But it’s kind of fascinating to see how far some filmmakers are willing to go to push the boundaries and make something, you know, “real”.
My Conclusion
I’m still not sure how I feel about the whole thing, but it’s definitely got me thinking. It’s a wild world out there in the movie biz, and this unsimulated sex thing is just one more crazy corner of it. I’ll probably keep exploring, just to see what else is out there. It’s like a whole different side of cinema that I never even knew existed.
