Okay, here’s a blog post about my experience with the “Costume of Miss USA”, written in the style you requested:

So, I’ve been seeing all this buzz lately about Miss Universe and Miss USA, and you know me, I gotta get in on the action. Not to compete, mind you, but I was super curious about these national costumes. Like, what’s the deal? How do they even come up with this stuff?
I started digging around, just to see what the process is like. First off, I learned that the Miss USA pageant is all about picking a lady to go on to the Miss Universe pageant. Cool, cool. This year it’s some gal from Hawaii, Savannah Gankiewicz, who’s gonna be competing. And it’s all happening in Mexico. Fancy!
Then I started looking at some of these costumes. Holy smokes, people go all out! One of them, worn by this Michelle Marquez Dee, had an airplane theme. An airplane! Can you believe it? It got me thinking, how do you even start designing something like that? It’s wild!
And get this – one of the past Miss Universe contestants, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, her costume was all about being a “silent killer”. Whatever that means. But it looked pretty awesome, I gotta say. Intimidating, but awesome. They have her looking strong and stunning!
Now, about the competition itself, I found out that Miss USA has a swimsuit part and an evening gown part. But no talent competition. Interesting. They do have a Q&A round, though. That’s where they really gotta show off their brains, not just their looks. You got to have beauty and smarts, you know?

There’s also this whole thing about Miss America vs. Miss USA. Apparently, Miss America is more about scholarships and personal growth. But Miss USA and Miss Universe, those are the ones that really get people’s attention worldwide. It’s all about finding that perfect queen who’s got it all – the looks, the brains, the whole package.
I also saw that there was some criticism over a Miss Universe Namibia’s costume. I guess not everyone’s gonna love every design, right? It was Prisca Anyolo’s costume. She even had a second one made because of it. I didn’t see what the big deal was. It was just a simple, satin gown. Looked fine to me.
There are also sponsors for the whole event. Some fashion designer named Sherri Hill and some other companies that make crowns. Makes sense. You have to have a fancy crown for a pageant, right?
Here is what I did to get more information:
- I searched for articles about Miss USA and Miss Universe to get the basic info.
- I looked up photos and videos of past national costumes.
- I read about the controversy surrounding Miss Universe Namibia’s first costume.
- I compared the differences between Miss USA and Miss America.
- I found out who the sponsors are for the Miss USA event.
So, that’s my little adventure into the world of Miss USA and their crazy costumes. It’s definitely a whole different world. But hey, it’s interesting to learn about, right? And those costumes, they’re something else. I’m telling you, people are really creative. Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to search for the best national costume of Miss Universe 2024. I saw online that it was worn by Miss Philippines, Chelsea Manalo. Wish me luck!
