Okay, let’s talk about Jen Bunney. Remember her from “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills”? Yeah, that girl who was always kind of in and out of Lauren Conrad’s friend group. Well, I got sucked into a rabbit hole the other day and started digging into what she’s been up to since those days. Turns out, it’s a bit of a wild ride.

First off, I had to refresh my memory. I remembered this one scene where Jen supposedly kissed Brody Jenner, apparently stirred up by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. Classic reality TV drama, right? Then I found out she was in a bunch of “Laguna Beach” episodes before even getting on “The Hills.” That’s where things got messy.
So, I started digging deeper. Apparently, there was this big fight between Jen and Lauren over Brody. And it wasn’t just your average TV drama. I read that Jen was supposedly selling stories to the tabloids back in the day, and there was some finger-pointing between her and Lo. It seems like the show used the whole Brody kissing thing as the reason for their friendship falling apart, but who knows what really went down. The show couldn’t address the reality, right?
After “The Hills,” Jen kind of dropped off the radar in terms of the spotlight. I was curious, so I kept digging. Turns out, she went back to school, got a PhD and a master’s degree and now works as some big shot in healthcare, Chief Population Health Officer or something. Seriously, who would’ve thought?
- Went to school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her PhD.
- Got a master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
- Now works as the Chief Population Health Officer at Regal Medical Group in California.
I also stumbled upon an interview where Jen said watching “The Hills” is a “huge trigger” for her. She even said she felt “dispensable” to the creators. That’s pretty harsh, but I guess reality TV can be a brutal world. Also, Jen said she and Lauren aren’t friends anymore, but they’re cool when they see each other. “In my heart, we are good,” she said. No bad blood, I guess.
It’s crazy how different people’s lives turn out. One minute you’re on a hit MTV show, the next you’re a healthcare executive with a PhD. Life’s a trip, huh?
