Alright, so, the other day I was digging around, trying to find some info on this Daisy Chin-Lor person. I’d heard the name a few times, she sounded like a big shot, you know? So I started my little investigation.

First thing I did was hit up LinkedIn. You can find almost anyone on there, right? And sure enough, Daisy Chin-Lor was there. A couple of profiles actually. Seemed like she was pretty active on there, sharing stuff, connecting with people, the usual.
Then I kind of broadened my search. I saw that she’s been involved with some big companies, Fortune 100 type stuff. Impressive, right? She’s not just some random person, she’s like a leader and advisor. That got my attention for sure.
I also found out she’s big on helping women in the workplace. She’s been on the Board of Directors of some organizations like the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) and the American Institute for Managing Diversity. That’s pretty cool. She’s not just about climbing the ladder herself, she’s pulling others up with her. That’s something I really admire in people. I’m all for helping women advance in their careers.
- I saw she was connected to Tupperware Brands.
- She was the President and Managing Director of BeautiControl North America.
- I think that was based in Orlando. I saw “Orlando, Fla., March 10” on one of the website snippets I found.
So, I kept digging, trying to piece together her career history. It seems like she’s had a lot of different positions, always moving up, taking on more responsibility. It’s inspiring, honestly. I mean, this lady is a powerhouse. That’s the conclusion that I reached. She has clearly done very well for herself.
And it wasn’t just in one field, either. She’s worked in different industries. That’s something I also respect. It is difficult to switch industries and succeed. Overall, I found learning about Daisy Chin-Lor to be really interesting. I plan to do more research on her when I get the time.
