Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to try something new with my makeup, and I figured, why not go bold? I decided to do a blue and silver eyeshadow look. I’ve never really done anything like this before, but I was feeling adventurous. I started by gathering all my supplies.

First, I needed to find the right eyeshadows. I went to the store and picked up a sparkly blue eyeshadow and a metallic silver one. They had a ton of options, but these two just caught my eye. Then I grabbed my brushes, some primer, and my usual foundation and concealer. I wanted to make sure my base was good before I started on the eyes.
I put on my foundation and concealer like I always do. Then, I applied some eyeshadow primer to my eyelids. This is super important, especially when you’re using bright colors, because it helps the eyeshadow stick and stay vibrant. Once the primer was set, I started with the blue eyeshadow.
I took a fluffy brush and dipped it into the blue eyeshadow. I tapped off the excess – you don’t want too much product on the brush. Then, I started applying the blue to my eyelids, focusing on the outer corners. I blended it upwards and outwards, creating a sort of smoky effect. I used a smaller brush to apply the blue along my lower lash line as well. I like to bring the color down to there because I think it helps balance things out.
Next, I took the silver eyeshadow. I used a flat brush this time to really pack on the color. I applied the silver to the inner corners of my eyelids and the center, blending it slightly with the blue. This gives a really nice gradient effect, moving from light silver to deep blue. I also added a tiny bit of silver to the inner corners of my eyes to make them pop.
After the eyeshadow, I added some eyeliner. I went with a simple black wing because I didn’t want it to compete with the eyeshadow. Then, I curled my lashes and applied a few coats of mascara. My eyelashes are naturally short, so I need to apply it several times to make it stand out. Mascara is a must, especially with a dramatic eye look like this.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of what I did:
- Prep: Started with foundation, concealer, and eyeshadow primer.
- Blue Eyeshadow: Applied sparkly blue to the outer corners and lower lash line, blending upwards and outwards.
- Silver Eyeshadow: Packed metallic silver on the inner corners and center of the eyelids, blending with the blue.
- Eyeliner: Added a simple black winged liner.
- Mascara: Curled lashes and applied a few coats of mascara.
Honestly, I was really happy with how it turned out! It was a bit out of my comfort zone, but it felt good to try something new. It’s definitely a look I’d wear again, maybe for a night out or a special event. I felt like a rockstar with this bold makeup. The blue and silver combo is a total win. If you’re thinking about trying a new makeup look, I say go for it! It’s fun to experiment and see what you can create.
