Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another story from my digital adventures. Today, I’m diving into how I finally got my hands on Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V” album. Now, I’ve been a Weezy fan since, well, forever, and this album had me waiting longer than I care to admit.

So, first things first, I hit up Apple Music. Why? Because it’s easy, and I’m already paying for the subscription anyway. I typed in “Tha Carter V” in the search bar, and boom, there it was. The original album, the one that dropped back in 2018. I saw it had 23 songs, clocking in at about an hour of playtime. I started with “I Love You Dwayne,” because, you know, gotta start with the intro.
- Opened Apple Music.
- Searched for “Tha Carter V.”
- Found the 2018 version with 23 songs.
- Started listening with “I Love You Dwayne.”
But then I remembered there’s a deluxe version that came out in 2020. Back to the search bar, I went. I found “Tha Carter V (Deluxe)” and my jaw dropped. 33 songs? That’s almost two hours of pure Lil Wayne! I hit play without a second thought.
- Remembered the deluxe version.
- Searched for “Tha Carter V (Deluxe).”
- Found the 2020 version with 33 songs.
- Started streaming the deluxe edition.
I also checked out Spotify, just to see if they had it, and yep, they did. “Tha Carter V (Deluxe)” was right there, same 33 songs. I didn’t switch over, but it’s good to know it’s there if I ever decide to change up my music streaming service. I also tried using Amazon Music to stream this album ad-free and found it quickly.
- Checked Spotify for the deluxe version.
- Confirmed it’s available there too.
- Also tried Amazon Music to stream this album ad-free.
Then I got curious and stumbled upon some extra tracks on another platform called Audiomack. It’s this cool site where artists can upload their music directly. I found some additional stuff, like “Life Of Mr. Carter” and “Holy,” and even a track featuring Raekwon called “More To The Story.” It was like finding hidden treasure!
- Explored Audiomack for more tracks.
- Found “Life Of Mr. Carter,” “Holy,” and more.
- Discovered “More To The Story” featuring Raekwon.
Wrapping It Up
So, that’s my journey to fully experiencing Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter V.” From the original tracks to the deluxe edition and even some hidden gems, it’s been a ride. It’s amazing how many versions and extra tracks you can find if you just dig a little. This album is a classic, and finding all these different versions made it even more special. Keep digging, folks, you never know what you might find!
