Okay, so, I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now. I’ve been putting together this Eloise book collection, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the journey. I just wanted to put all my thoughts into my blog and talk about it.

It all started with a random trip to a used bookstore. I stumbled upon this old, kinda beat-up copy of “Eloise at the Plaza”. I remembered reading it as a kid and feeling a rush of nostalgia, so I grabbed it.
That’s how it began. I started actively hunting down the other books in the series. I’d spend my weekends going through used bookstores, visiting garage sales, and I even joined some online book-swap groups. It was not easy as I imagined. I needed to search all the related keywords online and also tried to find the resources from libraries near my house. Fortunately, I got many available resources to read these books.
One time, I found a first edition of “Eloise in Paris” tucked away in a dusty corner of an antique shop. It was a bit pricey, but I couldn’t resist. Holding it in my hands, I felt like I’d found a real treasure. It’s like a dream come true.
Slowly but surely, my collection grew. I managed to find “Eloise in Moscow” and “Eloise at Christmastime”. Each book brought back so many memories. I even started noticing little details I’d missed before, like the quirky illustrations and the funny little notes in the margins.

- Eloise Takes a Bawth
There are still a few books left that I’m trying to get a hold of. But seeing my collection now, it just makes me so happy.

Finding the books is only half of the journey
Reading them has been something that I cannot forget. Revisiting these stories as an adult has been a whole different experience. It is an amazing experience that I could read those books that I have read when I was a child. I’ve found myself appreciating the humor and the cleverness of the writing even more. Plus, it’s been a great way to unwind after a long day. Those books are so relaxing and interesting, and those are really worth reading when you have no other staff to do.
This whole Eloise book collection project has become a real passion of mine. It’s not just about owning the books, it’s about reliving those childhood memories and sharing that joy with others. I even started reading them to my niece, and she loves them just as much as I did. She laughed a lot and asked me a bunch of questions about it. I love to see that she also enjoys those amazing books.
Anyway, that’s my story about my Eloise book collection. It’s been a fun, nostalgic, and sometimes challenging adventure, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I did not expect that I could collect all of the books at the beginning, but I achieved it at last. It’s a great accomplishment for me! I just wanted to tell you guys about how fun this has been, and how much these books mean to me. If any of you guys are into collecting books, you totally get what I’m saying, right? Just had to share my excitement somewhere!
