Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another one of my little adventures. This time, it’s all about my experience with the “Eric Singer 2023” project. You know, the year 2023. Man, what a ride!
So, I kicked things off by diving deep into who Eric Singer really is. Turns out, he’s this awesome drummer who’s been with Kiss, Black Sabbath, and a bunch of other cool bands. I mean, the guy’s a legend! I started digging through his career, listening to albums he played on like “Seventh Star” by Black Sabbath. What a killer album, by the way.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Next, I decided I needed to hear more from the man himself. I stumbled upon this exclusive interview with Joel Gausten where Eric talks about his time with Black Sabbath. It was super insightful, hearing all those behind-the-scenes stories and how he got into Kiss. It felt like I was getting the inside scoop straight from the source.

Now, things got a bit technical when I started exploring the specifics of who did what on “Seventh Star”. Of course, Tony Iommi killed it on guitar, and Geoff Nicholls was the man on the keyboards. But it was more about the journey of the music than just the technicalities, you know?
Then there was this whole thing about how Black Sabbath got their name from a horror film. It’s these little tidbits that really make you appreciate the history behind the music. I found myself going down these rabbit holes, reading up on Ozzy Osbourne’s insane record sales and how Black Sabbath came to be. And all this was because I initially wanted to learn more about Eric Singer! Funny how things connect, right?
Wrapping It Up
I also read a bit about how Eric is just super agreeable and a team player when it comes to band dynamics. Always going with the flow and supporting the band’s vision. That’s probably why he’s been so successful. Watched a video of him performing with Kiss in 2019, and man, the energy was just unreal. He is so good.
So, yeah, that’s the gist of my Eric Singer 2023 project. It started as a simple curiosity and turned into this deep dive into rock history, band dynamics, and the sheer talent of one of the greatest drummers out there.
