- If it’s about startin’ somethin’ new, like a business, well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. My neighbor, she started sellin’ them quilts she makes online. Calls it “e-commerce,” I think. Said it ain’t easy, gotta keep track of all the money and the stuff you’re sellin’.
- And then there’s them fancy machines, the “3D printers.” Saw one at the county fair. Makes things outta plastic, like little toys and whatnots. The fella there said it’s all about gettin’ the hang of it, learnin’ the steps. Reminds me of learnin’ to churn butter, gotta do it just right or it won’t work.
Now, if you’re tryin’ to learn somethin’ new, you gotta be patient, that’s for sure. Like learnin’ to read. Took me a good long while, but I got there eventually. Same with drivin’ that ol’ tractor. Stalled it a hundred times before I figured it out. So, whatever this “first three wellery” is, don’t expect to be an expert right off the bat.
And you gotta have the right tools, I reckon. Can’t bake a pie without a pan, can’t plant a garden without a shovel. If it’s that “*” thing, you probably need one of them fancy computers and some kinda special program. If it’s business, you need a plan and some money to start with. And if it’s that resin stuff, well you’re gonna need that resin stuff, and some hardener and probably some gloves and safety glasses cause I saw my grandson using that stuff and it looks dangerous! Don’t you go getting any of that stuff on your skin, or in your eyes.
And don’t be afraid to ask for help. Nobody knows everything, that’s for sure. I remember when I first started canning peaches. Ruined a whole batch before my neighbor showed me the right way to do it. So, if you’re stuck, find someone who knows what they’re doin’ and ask ’em for some pointers. Or go to the library and get yourself a book. They got books about everything these days, even that “resin” stuff my grandson keeps talkin’ about, says it’s for making shiny things.
And most importantly, you gotta practice. Can’t learn to ride a bike without fallin’ a few times, can’t learn to knit without droppin’ a few stitches. So, whatever this “first three wellery” is, you gotta keep at it, even when it gets tough. Just like churnin’ that butter, gotta keep at it till it’s smooth and creamy.
Now, I heard tell of some folks usin’ somethin’ called “AI” to help ’em get started. Sounds like somethin’ out of a science fiction movie to me. But my grandson says it’s like havin’ a smart helper that can answer all your questions. Maybe that’s somethin’ to look into, if you’re one of them tech-savvy types.
But even with all them fancy tools and gadgets, the most important thing is to just get started. Don’t sit around waitin’ for the perfect moment, ’cause it ain’t never gonna come. Just jump in and start doin’, and you’ll figure it out as you go along. Like milkin’ a cow, you gotta just grab them teats and get to squeezin’!
