This gold kyrie, you ask me what it is? Well, let me tell you, it’s all about them shoes, them fancy shoes that basketball players wear. This fella, Kyrie Irving, he’s a big shot on the court, you know. He used to have shoes with Nike, that big shoe company, everyone knows Nike. Now he’s got new ones, but they ain’t Nike. It is ANTA.
He’s got shoes coming out, these gold kyrie ones, all shiny and new. They say these shoes are special, got all sorts of fancy stuff in ’em. I don’t know about all that, but they sure do look flashy! He’s got different kinds, too, not just the gold ones.

This Kyrie, he’s got shoes in all sorts of colors. They come out at different times, like that one time, they had four kinds come out all at once! Can you believe it? Four different shoes! They were all about sports and art and movies, they said. Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me, but I guess the young folks like that kind of thing.
There was this other time, they made shoes that looked like them cartoon characters. You know, the ones the kids watch? There was a crab one and a squirrel one. Red and brown, they were. They came out in August, I think. They sure are somethin’ else.

Nike and Kyrie
Now, this Kyrie, he used to be all about Nike. Everyone wanted them Nike Kyrie shoes. They were a big deal, you know. I remember when the Nike Kyrie 3 came out, back in 2016. Christmas Day, it was! They were $120, if you can believe that. For shoes! But people bought ’em up like hotcakes.
They had all sorts of fancy names for ’em, these Nike Kyrie shoes. They had this “Hyperfuse” and “layered mesh” and “TPU.” I don’t know what any of that means, but it sure sounds important. They were supposed to make you jump higher and run faster, I guess. I just wear my old sneakers, they do the job just fine.
But them Nike Kyrie shoes, they were somethin’ else. Everyone wanted a pair. They had different colors, all through 2016 and 2017. They just kept comin’ out with new ones. It was like they were in this shoe, and you had to have it. I guess it’s like them fads the kids have. One day it’s one thing, the next day it’s another.
New Kyrie Shoes
Now, this fella Kyrie, he’s got these new shoes, not with Nike no more. He has new shoes coming out from December 11-21, 2024. They ain’t cheap, I bet. But people will buy ’em, you just watch. They always do. They’ll be linin’ up to get their hands on these new gold kyrie shoes.
I don’t know about all this fuss over shoes. Back in my day, we just had one pair, and we wore ’em ’til they fell apart. But times change, I guess. These young folks, they like their fancy shoes. And this Kyrie, he sure knows how to sell ’em!
These new shoes, they’ll be all the rage. Just you wait and see. They say these gold kyrie ones are gonna be the best yet. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. But one thing’s for sure, this Kyrie fella, he sure knows how to make a splash. He team up with ANTA now.
It’s all about the shoes, these days. These gold kyrie shoes, they’re just the latest thing. But who knows what they’ll come up with next. Maybe they’ll have shoes that light up or play music. You never know! The Kyrie shoes will be popular, I think. The kids will like it.
I guess only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, this Kyrie Irving, he’s made a name for himself, both on the court and with these shoes. And these gold kyrie ones, they’re just the latest chapter in his story. What a world, what a world!
