Oh boy, where do I even begin with this Peloton commercial? I remember when it first came out, I was immediately hooked. So, the other day, I decided, what the heck, let’s give it a try and see what the fuss is all about.

First, I dusted off my old exercise bike – it’s definitely no Peloton, but hey, it’s got two wheels and pedals, so it’ll do. Then, I searched “Peloton commercial” on my phone, and found the one with that catchy tune. You know the one, “Gotta Love That”? Well, turns out, some folks hear “gotta fat ass” or “gotta lard ass”. Can you believe it? It’s hilarious, but I digress.
Getting into the Groove
- Set the Stage: I propped my phone up on the handlebars and hit play. The commercial started, and there’s this lady, just chillin’ in a chair, watching a guy on a Peloton. She’s kind of my spirit animal, to be honest.
- Pedal Power: As the guy in the commercial started pedaling, so did I. I tried to match his pace, but my old bike is a bit squeaky and doesn’t have all those fancy resistance settings.
- Sing-Along: The song came on, and I couldn’t help but sing along. “Gotta love that! Gotta love that!” It’s so darn catchy, even though I know some people think it says other words.
I kept pedaling, trying to keep up with the commercial. It was actually pretty fun, and I could see why people get hooked on these Peloton things. The music, the energy, it’s all very motivating. I have heard of a holiday ad went from inspiring to cringe-worthy, but that is not what I am talking about. I just focus on this “Gotta Love That” one.
By the end of the commercial, I was sweating. Not as much as the guy on the screen, but still, a good little workout. And the song was stuck in my head for the rest of the day. I kept singing it to myself, much to the amusement of my family.
So, there you have it. My little adventure with the Peloton commercial. It was a fun way to get a bit of exercise and have a good laugh. Maybe one day I’ll get a real Peloton, but for now, my trusty old bike and that catchy tune will do just fine. Gotta love that, right?
