Hey everyone, so I finally did it – I went to a game at Yankee Stadium! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for ages, and let me tell you, it was an experience. Decided to record it for my blog, hope my pals enjoy it!

First things first, I gotta figure out the tickets. After looking around, I realized that the best seats are those Legends, Champions, and Field Level ones. They’re numbered in the 00s and 100s. Man, those front-row Legends seats can go for over a thousand bucks for the big games! I wasn’t about to drop that much cash, but I still wanted a decent view.
Getting There
Next up, how to get there. I heard the subway is the easiest way. I found out that the 4 train on the East Side and the D train on Sixth Avenue both stop right at the stadium – 161st Street/Yankee Stadium station. Looks like there’s a B train too, but only on weekdays. I chose 4 train, it is much more convenient for me.
The Day Of
Game day arrived! I took the subway, and it was packed with fans. The energy was already buzzing even before we got to the stadium. I got off the 4 train and walked out, man, the stadium is enormous!
I heard only people with Premium tickets can get into certain areas during batting practice. And sometimes, the Yankees might skip batting practice or infield workouts altogether. I was planning to get there early to catch the batting practice, but when I called the stadium, they told me there was no batting practice that day. Such a pity!
Inside the Stadium
I got to my seat, not the closest, not the best, but hey, I was there! The atmosphere was electric. Everyone was so into it, cheering, and yelling. It was awesome. I saw someone trying to contact booking agents for former players for meet and greets from the billboard in the stadium. I think I saw a name called Athlete Speakers or something.
The game itself was amazing, even though the Yankees lost, which was a bummer. But the whole experience, being there in that iconic stadium, it was unforgettable.
What I Learned
- Tickets: If you want the absolute best seats, be prepared to pay big bucks for those Legends, Champions, or Field Level spots.
- Subway: The 4 and D trains are the way to go. Super convenient.
- Batting Practice: Don’t count on it, and call ahead to check if you really want to see it. It’s only for Premium ticket holders anyway.
- Atmosphere: It was electric, even though the Yankees lost.
All in all, it was a fantastic day. If you’re a baseball fan, or even just a sports fan, you gotta go to a game at Yankee Stadium at least once. Just being there is something special. Next time, I might try to save up for those better seats, though! Hope you all enjoyed my sharing!
