Well, let me tell you, these young folks and their shoes these days. Back in my day, we just had one pair, maybe two if you were lucky. Now it’s all about these dunk flyknit things. What in the tarnation is a flyknit anyway? Sounds like something you’d do with a fly swatter.

Fancy Footwork
I seen them though, these dunk shoes. All different colors, like a rainbow threw up on ’em. Some kids wear ’em with them skinny jeans, tight as a sausage casing. Others wear ’em with them baggy pants that look like they’re about to fall right off. I don’t get it, but they seem to like it. I guess dunk flyknit is kinda popular.
Dunk Flyknit with Jeans
Now, you wanna wear them dunk flyknit with jeans, you gotta make sure they ain’t too baggy. Otherwise, you’ll be tripping over yourself like a newborn calf. Skinny jeans, they call ’em. Like they’re made for skeletons. But I reckon they show off the shoes better. Some of these kids wear jeans with holes. Pay good money for pants with holes. Back in my day, holes meant they were worn and ready to throw away. Or you could just make them into patches for other pairs.
Dunk Flyknit with Shorts
Then there’s the shorts. Shorts in the winter, if you can believe it. They pair ’em with them dunk flyknit and a big ol’ sweatshirt. Like they couldn’t decide if they were hot or cold. I guess that’s fashion for ya. Makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine. I saw a young fella with shorts the color of his sweatshirt, matchy-matchy, they call it. Then he put on those dunk shoes. He looked like he was ready for anything, I suppose. Or maybe he just got dressed in the dark, who knows.
Colors Everywhere
They got these dunk flyknit in every color you can imagine. Bright pink, like a flamingo. Orange, like them traffic cones. Some are even white. White shoes! Can you imagine trying to keep those clean? One step in a mud puddle and you’re done for. These young’uns, they don’t think about these things. They just want what’s popular, I guess. If everyone jump off a bridge, they follow for sure.
What to Wear with Dunk Flyknit
So, if you’re gonna wear these here dunk flyknit, here’s what I’ve gathered:

- Skinny jeans are in, apparently.
- Shorts are okay, even when it’s cold.
- You can match your shoes to your clothes, or not.
- Don’t wear white ones if you’re going near dirt.
- Baggy pants and these shoes, not a good match.
Dressy Dunks?
Now, this one’s a real head-scratcher. Some folks are wearing these dunk flyknit with, get this, fancy clothes. Like they’re going to a wedding or something. I saw a picture of a girl, she had on a long dress, and them dunk shoes. Looked like she was going to a square dance and a basketball game at the same time. I don’t know what they are thinking. Maybe I’m too old for this.
Just Wear What You Like
At the end of the day, I reckon it don’t really matter what you wear with your dunk flyknit. Just wear what makes you feel good. These kids today, they got their own style. It ain’t my style, but it’s theirs. As long as they’re happy, I guess that’s all that matters. But I still think they look silly, no matter how many people say dunk flyknit is good. They can’t be comfy. They are for sports!
But I will say one more thing, these dunk flyknit, they sure are something. Never thought I’d see the day when shoes were such a big deal. We used to wear shoes till they fell apart. Now they buy new ones every other week. These kids and their sneakers, they’re gonna be the death of me, I swear.
I guess it’s all part of growing up. These dunk flyknit and their trends. Like a weather vane, always changing direction. It was simpler, I think. We didn’t have all these choices, and these strange words, like flyknit. What does it even mean? Nobody knows, maybe not even the ones who made them.
