Okay, so, about wearing watches, right? I’ve always worn mine on my left hand. Never really gave it much thought, it just felt natural. But then, a buddy of mine, he’s a lefty, started wearing his on the right. Got me thinking, why do most of us wear them on the left anyway?

So, I did a little digging, nothing too serious, just poked around online. Turns out, it’s mostly because most folks are right-handed. Makes sense, I guess. You use your dominant hand more, so you wouldn’t want your watch getting in the way, banging into stuff all the time.
My Experiment
But that wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to see for myself. So, I switched my watch to my right wrist for a week. Let me tell you, it felt weird! I kept bumping it into things, and it just felt… off. I was constantly aware of it.
- Day 1-3: Felt super awkward. Kept forgetting it was there and smacking it on doorframes.
- Day 4-5: Started to get used to it, but still felt unnatural. Typing was a pain.
- Day 6-7: Still not a fan. Missed having it on my left wrist. It just felt more… right, you know?
After that week, I switched it back to my left wrist, and it was like coming home. It felt so much more comfortable and natural. Guess I’m just a creature of habit. But hey, at least I tried, right?
And, that’s my story about why I wear my watch on my left hand. It’s not some big scientific discovery, just my little experiment. If you’re a lefty and wear yours on the right, more power to you! It’s all about what works for you, I guess.
