Oh man, you won’t believe the rabbit hole I went down today, all thanks to this Ja 2 “Nightmare” shoe release. So, I’m scrolling through my usual sneaker blogs, and BAM! This crazy-looking shoe pops up, the Nike Ja 2 “Nightmare.” I was like, “What in the world is this?”
First thing I did was hit up Google. I typed in “Ja 2 Nightmare release date,” and boom, the internet did its thing. Turns out, these kicks are part of a Halloween drop from Nike and Ja Morant. They’re supposed to come out on October 25th, 2024. Mark that date, people, ’cause these are gonna be a hot item.
Diving Deeper into the Design
I spent a good chunk of my afternoon just staring at pictures of these shoes. They’ve got this whole spooky vibe going on, with devilish eyes and teeth on the tongue and laces. It’s like they took a monster and turned it into a sneaker. Seriously, these things look wild. Some people are loving them. some are hating them, but I think they will look great on me!

Apparently, there’s another colorway called “12 Time” that’s dropping on January 2nd, 2025, at 10 a.m. EST, according to Dick’s Sporting Goods. Those are going for $120. And there is one more! One called “Stargazer.” I will need to check them out.
But back to the “Nightmare.” I hopped on a few forums and sneakerhead groups to see what the buzz was like. People are hyped! Some are already planning their Halloween outfits around these shoes. Others are just excited to see Ja Morant’s second signature shoe doing well after his first one was a hit.
Final Thoughts
So, after a whole day immersed in the world of the Ja 2 “Nightmare,” I’m pretty pumped.
