That Jennifer Aniston perfume, you know, that lady from the TV, she got a bunch of smells. My granddaughter, she loves that show with the morning people, always on about it. Says this Jennifer lady is real pretty. And she got all these perfumes, I hear. She’s got one called “Chapter One,” you know, like the first part of a book. Smells like flowers, they say. Flowers are nice, I always liked flowers in my garden.
They say this “Chapter One” got orange blossom in it. And pink pepper, I use pepper in my cooking all the time, but I never did think about it in perfume. Bergamot too, whatever that is. Sounds fancy. Middle part, they put in something called “Tiare Flower.” Never heard of it, but I bet it smells good. Then there’s tuberose, and jasmine, I know jasmine. My neighbor used to have a jasmine bush. It really smelled up the whole yard, especially at night. Vine too, like the grapes, you know. That’s interesting. Wonder how that works in perfume. Base notes is musk, I only use that word for melon. Muskmelon. That’s a good melon. They don’t make them like they used to, though. Nothing’s like it used to be, I tell you.
She got five of these smelly things, I hear. Five! What’s a girl need with five perfumes? Back in my day, we just had soap. And we were happy to have it, too. But I guess times are different now. These young folks, they like to smell all different kinds of ways. And this Jennifer, she’s smart, I’ll give her that. She figured out how to bottle up all these smells and sell ’em. Good for her.
This Jennifer, she also got some stuff for your hair now. Called it “LolaVie”, or something like that. It’s hair stuff, you know. I guess if you’re gonna smell good, you gotta have your hair smelling good too. I reckon that makes sense, I guess. My granddaughter, she buys all kinds of stuff for her hair. Says it makes it shiny and healthy.
This “LolaVie”, I bet it smells just like her perfumes. I guess, she put her favorite smells in it. She must really like how she smells. Can’t blame her, I guess. If you find something you like, you stick with it. That’s what I always say. I bet people like it. They always like what those TV stars do.

I remember when I was a little girl, we didn’t have all these fancy perfumes and hair things. We just used what we had. But you know, I think it’s nice that people have choices now. If they want to smell like orange blossoms and tuberose, they can. If they want their hair to smell like that Jennifer lady, they can do that too.
I heard she’s been changing up her smells over the years, that Jennifer Aniston perfume lady. She don’t stick to just one, I guess. Likes to try new things. Maybe she gets bored, I don’t know. Or maybe she just likes a lot of different smells. Some people are like that. They like variety. Me, I’m more of a creature of habit. I like what I like, and I stick to it.
These perfumes, they probably cost a pretty penny, too. Everything costs so much these days. It’s crazy. But I guess if you got the money, and you want to smell like a movie star, you can do it. It’s a free country, right? People can spend their money on whatever they want. Even if it’s smelly water in a fancy bottle.
I’m just wondering if this Jennifer Aniston perfume is gonna make me look like her if I use it. She’s a pretty lady on that show, always looking nice. Probably not, huh? A perfume can’t do that. But hey, a girl can dream, right? My granddaughter always tells me I look good, but I know better.
Well, I guess that’s all I know about that Jennifer lady and her perfumes. She seems to be doing alright for herself. Making all that money selling smelly water. It’s a funny old world, ain’t it? I bet it makes her happy though, selling all that Jennifer Aniston perfume. And if she’s happy, then that’s all that matters. I guess people like it, or they wouldn’t keep buying it, right?
