Hey guys, I just wanted to share a little experiment I did recently with Jinx in League of Legends. I’ve been messing around with her ultimate ability and thought, “What if I just fully commit to making this thing as ridiculous as possible?” So, that’s what I did.

I started by looking at the runes. Now, I know there’s been some talk about the recent changes, so after some digging, I found out that Lethal Tempo seems to be the way to go. It gives her that extra attack speed to pump out more damage.
Then, I moved on to the items. I figured, if I’m going all-in on this rocket, I need items that boost damage like crazy. One of the things I found out is Runaan’s Hurricane is a pretty solid choice for Jinx. Because of her Fishbones, it just seems to melt groups of enemies. I went for it, thinking it would synergize well with her ultimate by spreading the pain around.
Next, I thought about my playstyle. I usually try to poke enemies down before going all-in. But with this build, I decided to be more aggressive. I would get in close, relying on that attack speed from the runes and items to burst down enemies before they could react.
- First, I farmed up in the early game, focusing on getting those core items as soon as possible.
- Second, I started looking for opportunities to group with my team. The idea was to use my souped-up ultimate to soften up the enemy team during fights.
- Third, once I saw an opening, I’d let the rocket fly, aiming for groups of enemies or low-health stragglers.
It was a bit of a gamble, especially since I was skipping defensive items, but man, when it worked, it really worked. Seeing that giant rocket slam into a bunch of enemies and watching their health bars just vanish was incredibly satisfying.
I played a bunch of games with this build, and honestly, it was a blast. Sure, I got caught out a few times because I was so squishy, but the damage output was insane. I even managed to snag a few kills across the map by predicting where enemies would recall or run to. It felt like I was playing a whole different champion.

So, if you’re looking to spice things up with Jinx and you’re not afraid to take some risks, give this “Jinx Rocket” build a try. It’s all about maxing out that ultimate damage and having fun. Just remember, it’s a bit of a glass cannon build, so positioning is key!
Conclusion
All in all, this was a fun little experiment. It reminded me that sometimes, it’s cool to just throw caution to the wind and try something crazy in the game. Who knows, you might just stumble upon your next favorite way to play a champion.
