Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing these Jordan 11 “Black Grey” kicks for a while now. You know, the ones that dropped back in 2021? Yeah, those. I finally decided to pull the trigger and snag a pair. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you.

First off, I started browsing online. I checked out a few places like StockX and some other spots, just to get a feel for the prices and see what was out there. Seemed like everyone wanted a piece of these, the prices were all over the place. But, you know, these shoes are a classic. They first came out in 2001, then again in 2010, and now they’re back. They have this sleek look with the patent leather, it’s fire. I heard somewhere that these only cost like, $16 to $30 to make. Crazy, right?
After looking around online for a while, I started hitting up some physical stores. I swung by Foot Locker and Macy’s, figuring they’d have some in stock. I mean, Macy’s website gets a ton of visitors, so I thought for sure they’d have them. No luck at Foot Locker, but Macy’s actually had a few pairs left! It was a bit of a mission, but I finally found them.
The moment I tried them on, I knew I had made the right decision. They fit perfectly, and they looked even better in person than they did online. The patent leather is just so clean, and the black and grey colorway is super versatile. You can rock them with almost anything.
So, after all that searching, I finally copped my Jordan 11 “Black Grey”. It was a bit of a hunt, but totally worth it. These are definitely going to be a staple in my rotation.
- Tried them on.
- Felt great.
- Looked even better in person.
- Bought them!
Now I’m just breaking them in, and I can’t wait to show them off. These shoes are a piece of history, and I’m stoked to finally have them in my collection.

A Happy Ending
Yeah, I walked out of that store feeling like a champ. Got my Grails and it was an adventure. It’s not just about having the shoes, it is the whole experience of hunting them down. Made it even sweeter. Now every time I wear them it will remind me of this. That’s it, that’s my Jordan 11 story. Peace out!
