So I was thinking about getting some new jeans the other day, and I figured I’d go with a classic, you know? Levi’s 505, black, because black goes with everything, right? I remember hearing that Levi’s were popular with the punk rockers back in the 70s, you know? The Ramones and all that. Anyway, I heard there is a newer version called the 505C, which is slimmer and has a lower waist. I decided to stick with the classic 505 though.

I started by checking out a few different online shops. I mean, who actually goes to a physical store these days? No way. I found some pretty good deals on a few German sites, and it looks like a lot of online stores are having sales.
I saw that the original 501s were made way back in 1873, which is crazy to think about. That was like some real, functional workwear stuff, apparently. They are made with rivet reinforcements, a classic five pocket design, and a button fly. They also have a tilted waistband. I also found out that some jeans are made with stretch denim, which is made by mixing cotton with elastic fibers. I didn’t know that. It sounds comfortable, but I was really after that classic, rigid denim feel.
- First, I checked out a few German online stores. They had the best prices.
- Then, I compared those prices to some other popular sites. They all had sales, too.
- After that, I read up a little on the history of Levi’s. They are older than I thought!
- Lastly, I decided on regular-fit 505, since I wanted a classic fit.
The Final Decision
After comparing everything, I decided to order a pair of regular-fit 505s from one of the German online stores. You know, good old classic. I placed the order, and now I’m just waiting for them to arrive. I’m pretty excited to get them. A good pair of black jeans is a must-have, and Levi’s are, like, the original, so I’m hoping they live up to the hype. We’ll see how it goes! I’ll definitely be rocking them once they arrive. Maybe I’ll even feel a little bit like a 70s punk rocker, who knows!
