This here watch, they call it the Longines Avigation BigEye. Sounds fancy, huh? Well, it’s a watch, and it’s got these big numbers, easy to see, even when my eyes ain’t what they used to be. Longines, that’s a name I hear folks talkin’ about. Seems like they been around forever, makin’ watches and all.
They say this Longines watch, it’s like the old ones. They call it “heritage.” This Longines Avigation BigEye is real pretty, like that Legend Diver one they made before. Means it’s like the watches them army boys used to wear. Big numbers, black face, easy to read when you’re in a hurry. That’s what they say, anyways. I just think it looks nice.
This one, the Longines Avigation BigEye, it’s got that big old dial. Makes it easy to see the time, even if you’re far away, or it’s dark, or somethin’. And it’s all black, like the night sky. Cept for them numbers, they’re white, and big. Real big, like they say, “BigEye”.

Longines, they’re from Switzerland, some place called Saint-Imier. Never been there, myself. But they say them Swiss folks, they know how to make a watch. And Longines, they been makin’ ’em for a long, long time. Since 1832, I heard someone say. That’s a long time, even longer than I been around!
They got this little winged hourglass, that’s their mark. You see that, you know it’s a Longines. Like a brand on a cow, I suppose. They sell these watches all over, more than a hundred countries. That’s a lot of places. This Longines Avigation BigEye is probably in a lot of those places. That’s what the folks that know about these things say, anyways.
Now, this here Longines Avigation BigEye, it ain’t cheap. But it’s a good watch, they say. Made to last. Like them old houses they built back in the day. Solid. Sturdy. This Longines, it’s like that. It’ll keep tickin’ for a long, long time. Longer than me, probably.
They say this Longines watch, it’s “inspired” by some old watch from the 1930s. That’s way before my time. But I guess they liked that old watch, so they made this new one, this Longines Avigation BigEye, to look like it. Makes sense, I suppose. If somethin’s good, why not make it again?
This Longines Avigation BigEye, they say it’s got “military roots.” Means it’s like what the soldiers used to wear. Tough, I reckon. Can take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’, as they say. This one, it’s still in their “Heritage” collection. That means it’s like the old ones, I guess. Old but good.
It’s a good lookin’ watch, this Longines Avigation BigEye. Simple. Not all fancy and covered in jewels and such. Just a good, solid watch. Tells the time. That’s what a watch is for, ain’t it?
