Alright, so I’ve been eyeing the Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM for a while now. It’s just so classic, you know? And I finally decided to go for it. I mean, it’s a big bag, but that’s what I wanted – something that could carry everything.

First off, I started calling the boutiques. Yeah, I actually had to call around ’cause these things are popular. I got put on a waitlist, which they said could be like two months. Two months! But hey, it’s a Neverfull, right? Anyway, each store has its own waitlist, so I just put my name down at a couple of places and hoped for the best.
While I was waiting, I did some more digging. Turns out, the “GM” stands for “Grand Model,” meaning it is the largest. I always thought this bag looked pretty simple. I also learned that there is a smaller version that called “MM”, which means “Medium Model”. Some people might think the Neverfull GM is too bulky, but I love its roomy design, which offers enough space for me to put a lot of things inside. I think it’s perfect for everyday use.
After waiting for about four weeks, I finally got the call! One of the stores got one in, and I had 24 hours to decide if I wanted it. Of course, I said yes! I was so excited to pick it up.
Here’s what I experienced when I got it:
- It’s big. I mean, I knew it would be, but it’s really big. Perfect for carrying my laptop, books, and everything else.
- The canvas feels really nice. It’s their Monogram canvas, which is supposed to be super durable.
- The straps are thin, but they’re comfortable. I was worried they might dig into my shoulder, but they don’t. I can wear it on my shoulder or on my arm.
- The side laces are cool. You can cinch them in to make the bag look more streamlined, or loosen them for a more casual vibe.
So yeah, that’s my experience getting a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM. It was a bit of a process with the waitlist and all, but I’m so happy with it! It’s a beautiful, well-made bag, and I know I’ll be using it for years to come. If you are looking for a practical tote bag with a classic design, this is it!
