Okay, so, I’ve been obsessed with Charli XCX lately, not just her music, but her whole vibe, you know? I really wanted to try and copy some of her looks, make them my own.

First off, I spent hours scrolling through Pinterest, just searching for “Charli XCX outfits” and “Charli XCX concert outfits.” There were tons of pics! I saved a bunch that I liked, mostly ones from her concerts and some street-style shots.
Next, I went through my own closet to see what I already had that might work. I found a few things, like a black crop top, some ripped jeans, and a pair of chunky boots, that seemed like they could fit the Charli XCX aesthetic.
But I still needed more. So, I hit up a few of my favorite fast-fashion stores. I was looking for pieces that felt edgy and a little bit futuristic, kind of like what Charli wears. I picked up a metallic skirt, a sheer top, and some funky accessories. Also, I found some platform boots. Those are totally a must-have for a Charli look!
Putting it All Together
- First outfit I put together was a black crop top, a metallic skirt and the platform boots. I added a thick chain necklace and some dark eye makeup. I felt so cool, honestly, it really channeled that Charli XCX energy.
- Then I tried another one with the ripped jeans, the sheer top, and a leather jacket I already owned. I wore the chunky boots with this one. This outfit felt more like her everyday style, a little more casual but still really cool.
- I also experimented with different makeup looks. I noticed Charli often wears bold eyeliner and sometimes bright lipstick. So I tried doing a dramatic cat-eye and even dabbled in some glitter eyeshadow. It was fun to play around and see what worked.
It was a blast trying to recreate some of Charli XCX’s looks! I realized it’s not just about the clothes, but the attitude. You gotta own it, you know? And I learned that you can find inspiration everywhere, even in your own closet. Just mix and match, try new things, and don’t be afraid to experiment. That’s what Charli’s style is all about!
I know, I am not a pop star, but I had so much fun. And maybe I will try this again with another icon’s style sometime. Or maybe it will be just Charli again.
