Okay, here is my sharing about how I got my LV Birks:
So I’ve been eyeing these LV Birks for a while now. They’re, like, the ultimate summer sandal, you know? But the price tag, ouch! It’s not like picking up a regular pair of shoes. So I really needed to make sure that I was getting the right size.
First, I went to find my normal US shoe size. I remembered that my foot is a little bit wide, so I need to pay attention to this. Then, I hit up the internet to figure out how to convert that to the Birkenstock size. I found out that you basically add 31 to your US women’s size.
I did the math, and figured out my Birkenstock size. But, I’m a little bit of a perfectionist, especially when I am spending a good chunk of money. So, I went to read some more reviews and stuff online. I saw some people saying that you should measure your feet to double-check.
So, I grabbed a ruler and measured my feet. This is a key step, do not skip it! Turns out, there’s a whole regular versus narrow width thing with Birkenstocks. Who knew? I learned that it really depends on the shape of your foot. I mean this makes perfect sense, but not everyone knows this before they are buying one.
- Measure your feet with a ruler.
- Add 31 to your US women’s size, or 33 to your US men’s size.
- Think about your foot shape, do you need regular or narrow width?
After all that research, I finally felt ready to pull the trigger. I went ahead and ordered my LV Birks, and guess what? They fit perfectly! It was such a relief, honestly.

I’ve been wearing them everywhere now. To the beach, to get coffee, even just chilling at home. They’re so comfy, and they look so good with pretty much anything. I’m so happy that I finally got these shoes, though my wallet is a little bit lighter now. But all in all, it was totally worth the effort and doing my homework.
Important Tips:
- Make sure to measure your feet before buying!
- Don’t forget to account for the width of your feet.
Hope this helps anyone out there who’s thinking about getting a pair of these amazing sandals! Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments. I am not an expert, but I am happy to share my experience and answer them based on what I have done.
