Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “Pocket Mortys” thing, right? It’s like, you’re this dude Rick and you gotta collect all these different versions of your grandson, Morty. Sounds nuts, I know, but it’s kinda addictive. I started off just wandering around, bumping into all sorts of weird and wacky Mortys. The first thing I did was try to capture a bunch of them.

- The game tells you to focus on getting rare Mortys, so I hunted those suckers down.
Leveling Up and Battling
Once I grabbed a few rare ones, I started battling other trainers. That’s how you level up your Mortys and make them stronger. I kept switching out my team every five levels or so, always trying to have the rarest Mortys I could find. It’s a bit of a grind, but seeing your Mortys evolve and get new abilities is pretty cool. You use items to boost your Mortys’ XP gain, so I made sure to stock up on those. It really speeds up the leveling process. I think the max level is 100, which seems like a long way off right now.
The Grind is Real
Honestly, the game is all about leveling up your Mortys. You spend so much time training them that it feels bad to just ditch them for a new one, even if it’s rarer. There are like 70 or something of these bizarre Mortys to collect. Mustache Morty, Wizard Morty, even a Cronenberg Morty… it’s wild. I’m trying to build the ultimate team, but it’s gonna take forever.
Some Tips I’ve Picked Up
- Always use your strongest Mortys to weaken the wild ones, then switch to a weaker Morty to finish them off. That way, your low-level guys get more experience.
- Pay attention to the types of Mortys. Some are strong against others, like rock, paper, scissors.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment with different team combinations. You never know what might work.
I’m still figuring things out, but it’s been a fun ride so far. If you’re into collecting and battling, you might dig this game. Just be prepared to sink a lot of time into it.
