Alright, guys, let’s talk about the Phoenix Gem Show 2024. I just went, and I’ve got some stories to share.

First off, I got up early and drove to the Phoenix Shrine Auditorium. It was June 1st, the first day of the show. I heard about this from some website talking about Arizona rock and gem stuff, so I was pretty hyped.
When I got there, the place was buzzing. I paid for my ticket and walked in. The first thing I noticed was the sheer number of vendors. There were rows and rows of tables filled with all kinds of rocks, minerals, and jewelry.
- I spent a good hour just wandering around, checking out the different stalls.
- I saw some amazing stuff, from shiny crystals to colorful beads.
- There were people selling fossils, gemstones, and even handmade jewelry.
I remember reading somewhere that you should wear comfy shoes to these things, and boy, were they right. I was on my feet for hours. Also, I brought along a water bottle, which was a lifesaver because it got pretty warm inside.
Now, I’m no expert, but I tried to haggle a bit. I read online that many vendors are open to negotiation. I managed to get a small discount on a cool-looking rock. It wasn’t much, but hey, it’s the principle of the thing, right?
After a few hours, I was pretty tired, so I decided to head home. I grabbed some food on the way back.

My Haul
So, what did I end up getting? Well, I bought that rock I mentioned earlier. It’s nothing special, but I liked the way it looked. I also picked up a few small crystals for my collection. Overall, it wasn’t a huge haul, but I was happy with my purchases.
All in all, the Phoenix Gem Show was a fun experience. I saw some cool stuff, learned a bit about rocks and minerals, and got a few new additions for my collection. If you’re into this kind of thing, I’d definitely recommend checking it out next year.
