So, I’ve been seeing this trend all over my feed lately – the Adidas leather sweat suit. I gotta say, it looked pretty cool, and I was curious to see if it’s actually comfortable or just a fashion statement. So, I decided to get one and give it a try.

First off, finding one was a bit of a mission. Not every store carries them, you know? I finally found a set online. I ordered my usual size, hoping it would fit right.
When it arrived, I was kinda excited. I ripped open the package and tried it on immediately. The leather felt kinda stiff at first, not like regular sweatpants, obviously. It wasn’t as soft as I thought it would be, but it had this cool, edgy vibe. I checked myself out in the mirror, and I have to admit, it looked pretty dope.
I decided to wear it out for a day to really test it out. I paired it with a simple white tee and some sneakers. Throughout the day, I got a few compliments, which was nice. People were definitely noticing it. It is not a normal outfit, you know?
- It’s not the best choice for a hot day. Leather doesn’t breathe as well as cotton, so I started feeling a bit warm after a while.
- Moving around was interesting. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but the leather made some noises when I walked.
- Sitting down was also an experience, especially on leather seats. It was like leather on leather, a bit squeaky, not a big deal though.
The sweat suit definitely makes a statement. It is not something I’d wear every day, but it is a fun piece to have in my closet. It’s something different, you know? I tried machine washing it, following the care label, but it felt a bit different afterward. It became somewhat softer, which is good, but I’m not sure if it’ll hold up after multiple washes. Maybe hand washing is better.
At the end of the day, I think the Adidas leather sweat suit is more about style than practicality. It’s not the most comfortable thing in the world, but it’s definitely a cool look. If you are into the look and don’t mind a bit of stiffness, go for it. Just maybe don’t wear it on a super hot day or when you need to be really active.
