Today, I wanna share something about that Rolex Oyster Perpetual colorful, which I just got my hands on. It’s a real beauty, let me tell you. Been eyeing these for a while, you know, ever since they dropped those colorful dials back in 2020. They just pop, right?

So, first thing I did was I went to check out all the different sizes. Turns out, they come in five sizes – 28, 31, 34, 36, and 41mm. That’s a pretty good range, right? I was debating between the 36 and the 41. Ended up going with the 41mm. Figured, go big or go home! And, you know, it’s just right for my wrist.
Next, I dug into the colors. Man, they got a bunch. I was really drawn to this one color – it’s kinda like a bright yellow. I saw that the 31mm, called ref. 277200, with a yellow dial is pretty popular. But I liked the bigger size. The colors just make the watch stand out. It’s not your typical Rolex, and that’s what I love about it.
- Checked out the sizes – 28, 31, 34, 36, 41mm.
- Picked the 41mm – just felt right.
- Loved the yellow dial – but they have other cool colors too.
Then I got to thinking about the price. I knew these weren’t cheap, but I also knew that Rolexes hold their value pretty well. Some even go up in price. This one, the 126000, I saw it going for around $9,720 online. Of course, prices can vary, but that gave me a good ballpark. I figured, it’s an investment, right? Plus, it’s a Rolex. They’re built to last. Speaking of which, did you know that all Rolex watches are made in Switzerland? Yeah, they got like 9,000 people working in four different locations, making sure these watches are top-notch.
What I Realized
This whole experience taught me a few things. One, these Oyster Perpetuals are popular for a reason. The colors, the sizes, the quality – it’s all there. Two, they’re not just a watch, they’re kind of an investment. You’re paying for quality, and it’s something you can pass down, you know? And lastly, it is suitable for both formal and casual occasions. And three, they’re made with a lot of care. Those Swiss folks don’t mess around when it comes to watchmaking.
So yeah, that’s my story about getting the Rolex Oyster Perpetual colorful. It was a bit of a process, but totally worth it. This watch is gonna be on my wrist for a long, long time. What do you all think? Do you guys have any experiences with Rolex or colorful watches in general? Let me know in the comments.
