Today I’m gonna talk about something that I’ve been messing around with lately – SDBH Goku Black. For those who don’t know, that’s Super Dragon Ball Heroes, and we’re talking about the baddie, Goku Black. This guy is a trip, let me tell you.
So, first thing I did was dig into who this character even is. Turns out, he’s not our regular Goku. Nope, this is what happens when another character named Zamasu body-swaps with our hero using some magical Dragon Balls. Messed up, right? This is important because it explains why he’s got all of Goku’s moves but with a twisted personality. So I’m not just playing with a reskin, this guy has a whole backstory.
Once I got the backstory down, I started looking at his moves. He’s got your standard Saiyan stuff – super strength, crazy speed, and all those energy blasts. But the cool part is how he uses them. He’s got this energy blade he whips out, and he uses it for all sorts of attacks. I saw a few in-game moves: an upward slice, a forward slash, even a gut punch followed by a spin and a slash. It’s brutal, and I’m here for it.
The next thing I tried out was his special moves. In the game, after the second round, he goes into this “super slash mode”. I figured out that the more I use his slash attacks, the more damage he does. It’s like he gets stronger the more he fights with that energy blade. It’s a fun mechanic to play with, trying to maximize my damage output.
- Ki Blast: Basic energy attack. Pretty standard stuff.
- Continuous Energy Bullets: Rapid-fire ki blasts. Good for keeping the pressure on.
- Black Power Ball: A big, powerful energy ball. This one’s a heavy hitter.
I also noticed that his personality is pretty messed up. He’s kind of a masochist, meaning he likes getting hurt. I found out this is due to him having Goku’s Saiyan blood. Saiyans love to fight, so he drags out battles just to enjoy the pain. In the game, this means you gotta be careful not to let him get too beat up, or he might turn the tables on you.
Finally, I explored his Super Saiyan Rosé form. This is where he gets even more powerful. His hair turns pink, and his attacks get even stronger. When I first saw this transformation, I knew I had to try it out. It’s a visual spectacle, and it makes him even more of a threat in battle.
Playing as Goku Black
Playing as Goku Black is a unique experience. He’s not just a strong character, but he’s also got a complex personality and a unique fighting style. It took me a while to get used to his moveset, but once I did, it was a blast. Whether you’re a Dragon Ball fan or just someone who enjoys fighting games, I recommend giving him a try. You won’t be disappointed.
