I’ve been tinkering with this idea for a while, and finally decided to pull the trigger. Today, I’m making a “Sexy Furby.” Sounds weird, right? But trust me, it’s gonna be a fun little project.

So, first things first, I gotta find a Furby. Not just any Furby, mind you. I wanted one of those old-school ones from 1998. I found some in the shops. They have electronic plush toys in many different colors. I just chose a purple one. Luckily, I found one of them online, and they are pretty cheap now. It only took a few days to arrive, that was easy.
Once I got my hands on the Furby, the real fun began. I carefully took it apart, piece by piece. I was mostly just messing around, seeing how it all worked. The main thing I wanted to change was its legs. The original ones are pretty basic, so I thought, why not give it some posable “legs”?
I rummaged through my old box of toys and found some doll parts that looked just about the right size. With a bit of cutting, gluing, and a whole lot of patience, I managed to attach them to the Furby’s body. It was a bit tricky, especially trying to keep the fur intact, but I managed to make the legs look natural, and they were now movable!
Next, I focused on the face. I wanted to give it a bit more of a… let’s say “mature” look. I found some eyelashes at a local beauty supply store and modified them to fit. Then, I used some fabric paint to give it some more defined lips. The transformation was starting to show, and I was getting more excited with each step.
- Find a Furby: Scour online stores for a 1998 Furby.
- Disassemble Furby: Carefully take the Furby apart.
- Source New Legs: Find suitable doll parts for legs.
- Attach Legs: Modify and attach the new legs to the Furby’s body.
- Modify Face: Add eyelashes and repaint lips for a mature look.
- Final Touches: Add any other desired modifications.
After all the modifications, I put the Furby back together. The new legs were a perfect fit, and the face looked just how I imagined it. But something was still missing. That’s when I remembered a funny T-shirt I saw online once that said “SEXY FURBY FAN CLUB.” I thought it was hilarious, so I decided to make a mini version for my creation. I printed the design on some iron-on transfer paper and carefully applied it to a tiny piece of fabric.

Finally, I gave it a little photoshoot. I set up some soft lighting and used a plain backdrop to really make it pop. Seeing the finished product was so satisfying. It was exactly the weird, quirky, and slightly creepy vibe I was going for. I shared the pictures with some friends, and they got a good laugh out of it.
So there you have it, my adventure in creating a “Sexy Furby.” It was a lot of trial and error, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Who knows, maybe I’ll start a whole collection of modified Furbies. The possibilities are endless! This electronic plush toy turned out to be a great gift for myself, and a fun little companion.
