Well, you see, this here watch, it’s called a Snoopy Moonwatch. It’s got that little dog, Snoopy, on it. He’s supposed to be some kinda famous dog, you know. They put him on these watches, and folks go crazy for ’em.
Snoopy and the Moon
This Snoopy, he’s been around a long time. They say he’s got somethin’ to do with them astronauts that went up to the moon. Don’t ask me how, ’cause I sure don’t know. But this watch, it’s got somethin’ to do with all that space stuff. It was like, they was gone for a long time, and they count it all up in hours, 142 hours, or somethin’ like that. They make a lot of these watches, over 5,000 of them.
They put him on these watches, and I guess it’s ’cause he’s special. It’s called Snoopy Moonwatch. Maybe he went up to the moon with ’em, in their pockets or somethin’. Who knows?
Why Folks Like This Snoopy Moonwatch
Now, why do folks like these watches so much? Well, for one, they’re shiny. And they got that little dog on ’em. And I guess they’re kinda rare. Not many folks got ’em. They call them, uh, “limited edition,” or somethin’ like that. Means they only made a certain number of ’em.

This one here, it’s white, like the moon, I suppose. They made another one a while back, in 2015, they say. And another in 2020. They say it’s for some anniversary, 45 years, 50 years. Some space mission thing. I don’t keep track of all that.
How Much This Thing Costs
Now, about the price. They say it is 270. That’s a lot of money for a watch, if you ask me. But folks like ’em. They line up to buy ’em. It’s like them Snoopy Moonwatch are made of gold or somethin’. They say the original one was 260, so it went up a little.
They call it the “MoonSwatch,” too. I don’t know why they call it that. Maybe ’cause it’s got somethin’ to do with the moon. Or maybe ’cause it’s made by that company, “Swatch.” They make all kinds of watches.
This Snoopy Moonwatch, I guess it’s a good one to have. They say it’s a good, uh, “investment.” Means it’ll be worth more money later on. Like puttin’ your money in the bank, but instead of the bank, it’s a watch. Don’t know who comes up with these things.
Getting Your Hands on a Snoopy Moonwatch
If you want one of these Snoopy Moonwatch, you gotta go to that Swatch store. That’s where they sell ’em. But you better be ready to wait. Lots of folks want ’em, and they don’t always have enough.
I heard tell of folks waitin’ in line for hours, just to get one. It’s like they’re givin’ away free food or somethin’. But it’s just a watch. A watch with a dog on it. The Snoopy Moonwatch sure does make people do strange things.
They say this Snoopy Moonwatch is one of the rarest. Even though they made a lot of them, back in 2003. That one is hard to find. People want that one bad. It’s like findin’ a needle in a haystack, I reckon.
It’s Just a Watch, Ain’t It?
Now, I don’t know much about watches. But this Snoopy Moonwatch, it sure does get folks excited. It’s got that little dog, and it’s shiny, and it’s got somethin’ to do with the moon. And it costs a lot of money.
I guess if you like watches, and you like Snoopy, and you got a lot of money, then this is the watch for you. But me, I’ll stick to my old watch. It tells the time just fine. Don’t need no dog on it to do that.
But this Snoopy Moonwatch, it’s somethin’ else, ain’t it? It’s more than just a watch. It’s a, uh, a thing. A special thing. And if you can get your hands on one, well, then you got somethin’ special, too.
