Okay, so I tried to recreate some of Taylor Swift’s looks in swimwear, just for fun. I started by scrolling through a ton of pictures online, you know, those paparazzi shots and some from her own Instagram. I was particularly looking for those that were taken on the beach or near a pool, you know, that kind of thing.
First, I found this yellow bikini she wore in the Bahamas. I searched everywhere and finally found six similar ones. The cheapest one was around $25, which is not bad, right? Then, I remembered seeing her in a Solid & Striped swimsuit. She and her friends, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne, all wore matching ones! So I went ahead and looked for that too. It was a bit harder to find a good match, but I managed to find a few options that looked pretty close.

I also tried to find some other swimwear that she has worn in the past. There were a lot of pictures, so I just picked a few that I liked. It was kind of tricky because some of the pictures were not very clear, or the swimsuits were not fully visible. But I did my best to find similar styles and colors.
My Process
I mainly used some online shopping websites to find the lookalikes. I also checked some apps like Curtsy, which is for sustainable thrifting. It was actually quite fun to look for these items, like a little treasure hunt. And of course, I kept in mind that I wanted to find affordable options, nothing too crazy expensive. It’s not exactly the same, but close enough, I guess. All in all, it’s a fun little project and I enjoyed seeing how I can recreate these looks without spending too much. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually wear one of these to the beach this summer!
