Alright, so I tried to recreate that Keke Palmer photoshoot, you know, the one that’s all over the internet.

First, I gathered some inspiration. I looked at a bunch of photos from that shoot online, from places like Imgur and Getty Images. There are so many, and she looks great in all of them. I noticed she’s wearing a lot of black in some of the pictures, like the one where she’s got that cool hat on, taken by Quintin and Ron for L’Officiel Italy. I also saw that she’s a really big deal, hosting the BET Soul Train Awards and stuff. Talk about a busy woman!
Next, I needed to find some clothes that looked like hers. This was tough. I don’t have a hat like that, but I found a black bodysuit in my closet. It wasn’t exactly the same, but it was close enough, I guess. I also tried to do my makeup like hers, but I’m not a makeup artist, so it wasn’t perfect.
Then, I set up my “studio”. I just used my living room. I moved some furniture around to make space and tried to get the lighting right. I don’t have any fancy lights, so I just opened the curtains and hoped for the best.
After that, I started taking pictures. I used my phone, not a professional camera like in the real photoshoot. I took a bunch of shots, trying different poses. I even tried to copy some of her expressions from the photos I saw online. I felt a little silly, but it was also kind of fun.
- I gathered inspiration from various online sources.
- I found similar clothes in my closet.
- I set up my living room as a makeshift studio.
- I took photos with my phone, trying different poses and expressions.
Finally, I looked at the photos. They weren’t as good as the real ones, obviously. I mean, I’m not Keke Palmer, and I don’t have a professional photographer. But it was a fun experiment. I learned a little bit about what goes into a photoshoot, and I got some new pictures of myself out of it.
It was a pretty interesting experience, even if it was a bit messy.
I always love to try new things and make my own creations.
Just want to share my experience, and I will try to do more next time!
