Alright, alright, let’s talk about this Tiger Woods fella and his boy, Charlie. Seems like they’re gonna be swingin’ them golf clubs together again, at somethin’ called the PNC Championship. Heard it’s in December, down in Orlando. Fancy place, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t no golf expert, ya hear? Don’t know a birdie from a bogey, but I know Tiger Woods. He’s that fella always on the TV, hittin’ that little white ball. And his boy, Charlie, well, he’s followin’ in his daddy’s footsteps, it seems. Gettin’ them young’uns involved early, that’s what they do. Just like farmin’, start ’em young, teach ’em the ropes.
This PNC Championship, sounds like a family affair. Fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, all playin’ golf together. Tiger and Charlie, they’ve done this before, a few times now. Seems like they do alright, too. Finished second one year, fifth another. Not too shabby, not too shabby at all. Folks seem to like watchin’ ’em. Guess it’s kinda heartwarming, seein’ a father and son doin’ somethin’ together.

This Ritz Carlton place, where they’re playin’, must be somethin’ else. Probably got fancy food and all them highfalutin things. Not like the ol’ diner down the road, that’s for sure. But I bet those golfers, they eat good, sleep good. Gotta be in top shape to swing them clubs all day, I imagine. It’s hard work, you know, just like hoein’ the fields, gotta have your strength.
Tiger Woods, he’s won a bunch of them golf tournaments, they say. Major championships, they call ’em. Fifteen of ’em, apparently. That’s a lot, I reckon. He’s been doin’ this golfin’ thing for a long time. And now he’s bringin’ his boy along. Passin’ down the trade, just like folks do. Farmers teach their kids to farm, carpenters teach their kids to build, and golfers, well, they teach their kids to golf. It’s the way of the world, ain’t it?
Heard they’re gonna be playin’ in this championship from December 19th to the 22nd. Right before Christmas. Guess they’ll be tradin’ in their golf clubs for Christmas presents after that. Wonder what they’ll get each other. Maybe new golf clubs? Or maybe just some nice warm socks. Everybody needs warm socks in December, even fancy golfers like Tiger Woods.
Anyways, it’ll be somethin’ to watch, I guess. If you’re into that golf stuff. Me, I’ll probably be busy knittin’ or somethin’, but I might catch a glimpse of it on the TV. Seein’ that Tiger Woods and his boy, swingin’ them clubs, tryin’ to win that championship. It’s a good thing, family doin’ things together. That’s what matters, in the end. More important than all them trophies and fancy golf courses, I tell ya.
So, good luck to Tiger and Charlie, I say. Hope they have a good time, and maybe even win that thing. But more importantly, I hope they enjoy spendin’ time together. That’s the real prize, ain’t it?
