Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole album cover thing for PARTYNEXTDOOR, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I wanted to make something that really popped, you know? Something that would grab people’s attention right away.

First, I scoured the internet for some cool images. I checked out a bunch of sites that have pictures you can use without getting into trouble. Places like Unsplash and Pexels, they’ve got tons of stuff. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through different categories, trying to find something that matched the vibe of the music. It was a bit like a treasure hunt, honestly.
Then, I remembered this old photo from way back in the 70s. It’s a picture of some band members who look like they just peed on this big concrete thing. Kind of edgy, right? I thought it could be a cool starting point, but maybe a bit too out there for this project.
- Diving into Pinterest was the next step. I figured it’s a goldmine for creative ideas, and boy, was I right. I found all sorts of album cover designs that people had put together. Some were really simple, others were super intricate. I started to get a better sense of what I wanted to do.
I also noticed some buzz on social media about what other people were saying about album covers. There was this one post with tons of likes and comments, and it got me thinking about how important it is to make something that people will talk about.
So, I started playing around with different designs. I wanted something unique, something that would make people do a double-take. I messed with colors, fonts, and layouts, trying to find the perfect combination. It was a lot of trial and error, but that’s how you get to the good stuff, you know?
The Result
After all that, I finally landed on something I’m pretty stoked about. It’s bold, it’s different, and I think it really captures the essence of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s music. It’s the kind of cover that makes you curious about what’s inside. Plus, I learned that this album has singles like “Her Old Friends” and “Resentment”, that were released before. And that gave me an idea to make something related to these songs’ themes.

Anyway, that’s my little adventure in album cover land. It was a blast, and I can’t wait to see what people think of the final product. Hopefully, it’ll make them want to give the music a listen!
