Okay, so I had this thing I was gonna do with “Katia Kuethe,” and let me tell you, it was quite the journey. I’d heard the name, seen it around, you know? She’s this creative director, born in Germany, now working in the States. Stuttgart, I think? Anyway, I wanted to dig in and see what she was all about.

First thing I did was hit up the usual spots. You know, the basic search, just to get a feel for what’s out there. I found some stuff on this “Business of Fashion” site. They had a few articles, you know, the typical “news, insight, analysis” type stuff. Gave me a bit of background, her career, the usual. There were some snippets about her career, and something about a Target campaign. That sounds interesting, but still nothing too juicy.
Then I thought, “Let’s get social.” I headed over to Facebook. I mean, everyone’s on Facebook, right? Found a profile for her. Not much to go on there, but hey, at least I could see she’s a real person. You know how it is, you see a name online, and you wonder if it’s a real person or just some made-up persona. And Facebook always says “people you may know”, quite a lot of fun.
After that, I got a bit more specific. I came across some mentions of her working with some pretty big-name brands. We’re talking “Abercrombie & Fitch,” “Hollister,” “Bergdorf Goodman,” “Neiman Marcus.” Fancy stuff, right? That told me she’s been around, done some big things. I mean, those aren’t small-time gigs.
And then I found out she was the Creative Director of Marketing for a brand. She’d left her previous role at “Lucky” just last month. That’s pretty recent. Made me wonder what she’s up to now, what her next big move is.
I also stumbled upon some random video-sharing stuff, but it didn’t seem directly related. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. Hard to tell with these things sometimes.

So, after all that, what did I really learn? Well, Katia Kuethe is definitely a player in the creative world. She’s got experience with some major brands, she’s made some big career moves, and she’s someone to keep an eye on. I’m still not sure what her “latest cheery Holiday Campaign for Target” was all about, but that sounds fun. I wish I can know more. It seems like I just scratched the surface. There’s probably a whole lot more to her story, but hey, that’s all I’ve got for now.
- Searched online for basic info.
- Checked social media (Facebook).
- Dug into her work with big brands.
- Found out about her recent job change.
- Got a general sense of her career.
It wasn’t the most in-depth investigation, but it was a start. You know how it goes, you start with a name, and it leads you down all these different paths. Sometimes you hit a dead end, sometimes you find something interesting. This time, it was a little bit of both. It did give me a better picture. Pretty much how it goes everyday.
Keep digging.
That’s all for my sharing today, hope you find it interesting!
