This Camp Flog Gnaw thing, I heard it’s gonna be somethin’ else this year. They say it’s gonna be in that big Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, where them baseball folks play. Ain’t that somethin’? Now, I ain’t one for them big crowds, but my grandkids, they’re all excited about it. They keep talkin’ ’bout this Tyler fella and all them other music folks gonna be there. They say he’s the one puttin’ it all together. Sounds like a big deal.
But the big question, the one everybody’s askin’, is when they gonna tell us who all’s gonna be there. When will Camp Flog Gnaw lineup be announced, that’s what they wanna know. I reckon they gotta keep it a secret for a while, make folks all curious and such. Smart, I guess.
The Big Mystery: Camp Flog Gnaw Lineup
This lineup thing, it’s like waitin’ for the rain in the middle of summer. You know it’s comin’, but you just don’t know when. And everybody’s lookin’ up at the sky, wonderin’ when them clouds gonna burst. That’s what this feels like. They say this Tyler, the Creator fella, he’s the one who knows. He’s keepin’ it all hush-hush.
My grandkids, they keep checkin’ their phones, lookin’ for news. They say it’s gonna be on the internet when they finally tell. I told ’em, “Back in my day, we didn’t have no internet. We just had to wait till they put it in the paper or said it on the radio.” They just laughed. Kids these days! But, this is sure to be the most popular music festival.
Dodger Stadium: A Big Place for a Big Party
Now, this Dodger Stadium, that’s a big place. I seen it on the TV a few times. Lots of seats, lots of people. I can’t imagine all them folks there for music. Must be somethin’ special. I remember when they used to have them barn dances out in the field.

- November 16 and 17, that’s what they say.
They say it’s gonna be on November 16 and 17. Two whole days of music. That’s a lot of singin’ and dancin’. I hope they got enough food and water for all them people.
I asked my grandkids, “What’s so special ’bout this Camp Flog Gnaw?” They said, “Grandma, it’s not just music. It’s like a big party. Everyone’s happy, everyone’s friends.” Sounds nice, I guess. Maybe when I was younger, I would’ve gone.
Who’s Gonna Be There?
They say there’s gonna be all sorts of folks at this Camp Flog Gnaw.
- This Tyler fella, he’s gonna be there, of course.
- Playboi Carti, that’s another one they talkin’ about.
- Erykah Badu, I think I heard that name before.
- Some fella named Andr 3000, he’s gonna play some new music, they say.
- Earl Sweatshirt, Kaytranada. I don’t know the name.
And a whole bunch more. It’s a long list. My grandkids, they know all the names. They say it’s gonna be the best Camp Flog Gnaw ever. They are gonna save up all their money for tickets. They’re real excited about it, and that makes me happy. I ain’t sure to buy tickets or not.
Waitin’ and Wonderin’
So, we’re all just waitin’ and wonderin’. When will Camp Flog Gnaw lineup be announced? That’s the question. It’s like waitin’ for a pot of water to boil. You just gotta be patient. I reckon they’ll tell us when they’re good and ready. And when they do, it’s gonna be big news.
My grandkids, they say it’s gonna be all over the internet. They’ll be shoutin’ it from the rooftops. I told ’em, “Just be sure to tell your old grandma first.” They promised they would.
This Camp Flog Gnaw, it’s somethin’ else. It’s more than just music. It’s a big event. It’s somethin’ people are gonna be talkin’ about for a long time. And I’m happy for my grandkids that they get to be a part of it. It’s their generation’s music. It’s their time to have fun.
I just hope they remember to wear sunscreen and stay hydrated. And maybe, just maybe, they’ll bring their old grandma back a t-shirt.
