Air Bloodline 12s: How to Style Them for Any Occasion

Date:

Well, let me tell you somethin’ ‘bout these here Air Bloodline 12s. Folks call ‘em sneakers, I guess. Fancy name for shoes, if ya ask me. But these ain’t just any shoes, no sirree. They’re… well, they’re somethin’ special.

Air Bloodline 12s: How to Style Them for Any Occasion

First off, they’re black and red. Black like a good ol’ cast iron skillet, and red like… like a ripe tomato, I reckon. Folks say the color is “Black/Varsity Red,” but that’s just fancy talk. To me, it’s just black and red, plain and simple. They call it “Bloodline,” which sounds kinda scary, like somethin’ out of a horror movie. But they’re just shoes, don’t ya worry.

Now, these shoes, they got this… leathery feel to ‘em. Not like the rough leather on my old work boots, mind you. This is smooth leather, feels kinda… fancy. Like somethin’ a city slicker would wear. They say it’s “premium leather,” whatever that means. All I know is, it feels nice and sturdy.

And they got this jumpin’ man on the back. Looks like he’s flyin’ or somethin’. They call him the “Jumpman.” He’s on all them Jordan shoes, I hear. My grandson, he’s crazy ‘bout these Jordans. Always talkin’ ‘bout ‘em. He told me these 12s are a big deal. Says they came out on January 4th, but I don’t keep track of such things.

He also told me some number, somethin’ like CT8013-060. Said that’s the “style code.” Sounds like gibberish to me, but he says it’s important if you wanna buy ‘em online or somethin’. Kids these days, always with their numbers and codes.

Now, I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you. I wear what’s comfortable and what gets the job done. But even I can see these shoes are kinda… stylish. My grandson says you can wear ‘em with all sorts of things. Jeans, shorts, even… sweatpants? He says you can dress ‘em up or dress ‘em down. Sounds like a lot of fuss over shoes, if ya ask me.

  • Wearin’ ’em with jeans: Seems like the easiest way to go. Just throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and you’re good to go. My grandson says you can even cuff the jeans a little to show off the shoes more. Kids these days, always showin’ off.
  • Dressin’ ’em up a bit: He says you can wear ‘em with nicer pants too, like khakis or somethin’. And a button-down shirt. Said it makes you look “put-together.” I guess that means you look presentable, like you’re goin’ to church or somethin’.
  • Gettin’ all fancy: Now, this is where it gets ridiculous. He says some folks even wear these shoes with suits! Suits! Can you believe it? A perfectly good suit, and they ruin it with sneakers. But I guess that’s what the young folks are doin’ these days.

And then there’s the price. Lord have mercy, these shoes cost a fortune! My grandson told me they’re over two hundred dollars! Two hundred dollars for a pair of shoes! Back in my day, you could buy a whole cow for that much money. But he says they’re worth it. Says they’re “limited edition” and “collectible.” Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me, but what do I know?

There was even some other kind of these 12s, brown ones. My grandson was goin’ on and on about ‘em. Said they was called “SoleFly x Nike Air Jordan 12 Baroque Brown.” Sounded like a mouthful. Said they was even more expensive and harder to get. Said they came out on December 13th and cost about $225. Land sakes, that’s a lot of money!

He told me there are ways to make these shoes look good, ways to “style” them. Said there are “tips and tricks” to make you look “chic.” I don’t know nothin’ ‘bout “chic.” But I guess it means lookin’ good. He says you can match the colors of your clothes to the shoes, or wear somethin’ bold and colorful to make the shoes stand out.

He’s always lookin’ at pictures of folks wearin’ these shoes, gettin’ ideas. Says he’s “striving for a classic look” or sometimes somethin’ “bold and colorful.” I just shake my head. All this fuss over shoes. But I guess if it makes him happy, then it’s alright.

So, there you have it. That’s all I know ‘bout these Air Bloodline 12s. They’re black and red, leathery, got a jumpin’ man on the back, cost a fortune, and young folks seem to be crazy about ‘em. Me? I’ll stick to my good ol’ work boots. They might not be fancy, but they get the job done, and they don’t cost an arm and a leg.
