Hey everyone, so I’ve been digging into Anjelica Huston’s 80s style lately and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I started by just casually browsing some old photos, you know, just to get a feel for her vibe back then. She was already a big deal in the 80s and had such a unique look, so I was really curious.
First I searched “Anjelica Huston 80s” on my phone, and I immediately found tons of pictures, she was really a fashion icon! I mean, she had her debut at 16 and just blossomed on screen after she turned 30, it’s inspiring. I spent a good chunk of time just scrolling and saving pics that really stood out.
Her Movies
- Then, I decided to watch a couple of her movies from that era. I started with “The Witches”, and then I moved on to “The Addams Family” (even though it’s from 1991, it’s close enough, right?). She plays Morticia Addams, and her look is just iconic. I read somewhere that she used her friend Jerry Hall as inspiration to make the character more warm-hearted.
- In one of her movies, she played a character who helped smuggle Jewish children during World War II. I also found that she is the daughter of Big John.
- I also watched “John Wick 3,” where she plays The Director. She’s basically someone who helps John Wick because, you know, it’s John Wick.
Her fashion sense in these films was so on point, the dresses, the makeup, everything. I noticed she often wore these bold, shoulder-padded outfits, which were super trendy at the time. She always looked so elegant and sophisticated.
Her Personal Life
I dug a little deeper and found out about her relationship with Jack Nicholson. They were together for a long time, and I even read that she fell in love with him instantly when she was 21, at a party her stepmother took her to. But apparently, it ended badly when he told her he was having a baby with someone else. Tough stuff.
I also read about some rumors that she had plastic surgery done on her face. She said that she gave up on plastic surgery after a bad Botox experience. She’s in her 60s now, so it’s normal for her looks to change over time.
Honestly, diving into Anjelica Huston’s 80s era has been so much fun. She’s such a fascinating woman, both on and off screen. I’m definitely going to keep exploring her work and style. Maybe I’ll even try to recreate some of her iconic looks for fun. What do you guys think?
