Okay, so I saw this thing online about a new Blair Witch Project movie, and it got me thinking back to the original. That movie freaked me out back in the day! I remember all the hype and how everyone thought it was real.

Then I got sidetracked and started reading about the original movie again. I found some tweet, or whatever you call it on X now, from this guy Mike Monello who was involved in the first one. He was talking about a restored version, which sounds interesting. I mean, the grainy look was part of the charm, but I guess a clearer picture could be cool too.
It got me wondering about the whole Blair Witch “myth.” I mean, we all know it’s not real, but the way they presented it in the movie was so convincing. I read that one of the producers, maybe this Monello guy, said it was all made up. But still, it was a brilliant marketing move, right?
