Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Celine Small 16 Wallet on Chain for a while now. It’s just so classy and seems like it would go with everything. I finally decided to go for it, and let me tell you, the whole process was quite the experience.
The Hunt
First off, I started by doing some serious research. I mean, I was comparing it to everything, even the Celine Chain Clutch and the YSL Sunset Medium! There’s also a lot to consider about this kind of thing, like the resale value. After a while, I realized I like the Celine bag because it could potentially increase in price over time, making it a potential investment. I read a bunch of reviews, watched videos, and basically became a Celine expert overnight. I was trying to figure out if it could hold all my stuff, you know? Like, could I fit my big wallet, my phone, some tissues, keys, and a little bag with my lip gloss and stuff? That was the big question.
I finally decided on the Small 16 Wallet on Chain because it’s just so cute and seems really practical, with its 11cm x 14cm x 5cm dimensions. I went to a couple of Celine stores to check it out in person. Felt the leather, tried it on, the whole shebang. I also asked the store associate to show me the zipper, which I knew should have the word “Celine” on it, and also a number on the inner view of the zipper. They also had to show me the “Celine” on the pocket as well.
The Purchase
After much deliberation, I finally took the plunge! The whole process felt so luxurious. I made sure everything was perfect and ended up buying it at the boutique. It’s a polished calfskin, which gives it a beautiful sheen and feels so smooth. I chose the classic black color, but they had some other gorgeous options too.
The Unboxing
Getting home and unboxing it was like Christmas morning. Seriously, the packaging alone is a work of art. It comes in this beautiful box with a dust bag. The bag itself is even more stunning in person. The leather is so soft, and the gold hardware is just perfect. The chain is detachable, which is great because you can wear it as a crossbody, a shoulder bag, or even carry it as a clutch. It’s also great that the bag’s design is based on how a typical Parisian woman wears her bag.
The Verdict
So far, I’m totally in love with it. It fits everything I need for a day out or a night out. My phone, my cardholder (I had to ditch my big wallet, but it’s worth it), my keys, some lip balm, and even a small pack of tissues. It’s surprisingly spacious for such a small bag.
