Hey everyone, so I’ve been seeing these Kit Kat Churro bars all over the place lately and, like, I had to give them a try. I’m a big fan of both Kit Kats and churros, so combining the two sounded like something I couldn’t miss.
First off, I went to the store and grabbed a bar. It was a little hard to find, to be honest, but I eventually spotted them near the other limited edition flavors. Packaging-wise, it looks pretty standard for a Kit Kat, but with some nice churro-themed graphics. I bought it and took it home immediately.
When I opened it up, I got the first whiff of that cinnamon-sugar goodness. It really smelled like a fresh churro, which got me even more excited. The bar is the usual Kit Kat shape – four connected bars that you can snap apart. They are a bit different from a regular chocolate Kit Kat, I can feel it! Breaking one off, I could see that the chocolate coating seemed a little different, maybe a bit lighter in color.
Inside, the wafers are coated with the same churro-flavored creme. It’s actually a mix of more Kit Kats and cinnamon-sugar that is inside the crispy wafers. And upon some very simple searching, that’s really just a puree of more KitKats. I bit into one, and wow, the flavor really does come through. It’s like a blend of that classic Kit Kat crunch with the sweet, cinnamon taste of a churro. It’s not overwhelmingly sweet, which I appreciate. The cinnamon isn’t too strong, but it’s definitely there, giving it that churro vibe.
- Taste: It’s got a nice balance of chocolate and cinnamon. It’s sweet but not too much.
- Texture: Just like a regular Kit Kat, crispy and satisfying.
- Smell: Smells just like a churro, which is a big plus.
Honestly, I was pretty impressed with this one. I didn’t expect it to taste this much like a churro, but they did a great job with the flavor. I don’t know if it will become a permanent flavor, but I enjoyed trying something new. If you’re a fan of Kit Kats or churros, I’d say it’s worth checking out.
I’ve had some other interesting Kit Kat flavors before, like the Fruity Cereal one, but this Churro one is up there for me. It’s a fun twist on the classic candy bar, and I ended up eating the whole thing in one sitting. Whoops! I might have to go back to the store and stock up on a few more before they disappear. This new Kit Kat Churro bar really makes me feel the charm of Latin flavor. I’m not sure when it will be out of stock, so I will buy more next time!
