Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make my place feel more like a jungle, you know, bring the outdoors in. I finally got around to doing it and it was a wild ride, let me tell you.
First, I hit up a bunch of local plant shops. I mean, I went to every single one I could find. I was on a mission. I snagged some plants from the clearance sections ’cause who doesn’t love a good deal, right? And yeah, I might have a slight problem with killing plants, but I was determined to make this work.
Then, I started placing the plants around my apartment. I got some hanging baskets and hung plants from the ceiling and shelves. It’s crazy how much a few hanging plants can change the vibe of a room. It instantly felt more alive in there. I even let some of the plants climb up and down the furniture. I was basically creating my own little jungle vines all over the place.
- Got a big old banana plant and stuck it in a corner.
- Found this awesome Monstera Deliciosa – the one with the cool leaves with holes – and put it right by the window.
I mixed it up with different sizes and types of plants. I mean, the more the merrier, right? It’s like, you can’t have too many plants.
The Final Touches
I added a few extra things here and there, like some natural wood shelves. And now, honestly, my apartment feels like a totally different place. It’s like I’m living in a jungle, but without the bugs and humidity, which is a major plus. It took some time and effort, but I totally transformed my space into a green paradise.
