Okay, so, I’ve been seeing this “Funny Bunny” French pedicure thing all over my socials lately, and I finally caved. I’m not usually one for white nail polish, but the pictures looked so darn cute, I just had to try it.
First off, I gathered all my supplies. I already had a pretty decent pedicure kit, so I just needed the polish. I went with OPI’s Funny Bunny, since that’s what everyone seems to be raving about. It’s this milky white color that’s not too stark, which I liked.
- Prepped my toes: This is pretty standard – soaked my feet, pushed back my cuticles, trimmed and filed my nails, the whole nine yards. Gotta have a good base, you know?
- Base coat: I always use a base coat, it just makes the polish last longer and protects your nails.
- Funny Bunny time: Now for the fun part. I carefully applied two coats of Funny Bunny to my entire nail. It’s a pretty sheer color, so two coats gave me that nice, opaque milky look I was going for.
- French tips: I am not gonna lie. I had a try at this. I’m no pro, so I used those little sticker guides you can get for French manicures. It made it so much easier. I tapped a very thin white line at the tip of my toenail.
- Top coat: Once everything was dry, I sealed it all in with a top coat for extra shine and durability.
And that’s it! Honestly, it was way easier than I thought it would be. The hardest part was probably waiting for the polish to dry, I’m so impatient! But the results? Totally worth it. My toes look super cute and summery. I’m definitely feeling this Funny Bunny trend. Might even try some nail art on them next time, maybe some little bunny designs. Who knows, I will think about that!
If you’re thinking about trying this trend, I say go for it! It’s a fun, easy way to update your pedicure game. Just don’t forget those sticker guides if you’re a klutz like me.
