Alright, so, I finally got my hands on the men’s ASICS Naruto Shippuden x Gel-NYC ‘Naruto Uzumaki’ sneakers. Been eyeing these bad boys for a while now, and let me tell you, the hunt was real.
First off, I scoured the internet. I checked out places like SPORTSHOWROOM and StockX, you know, the usual spots for sneakerheads. Prices were all over the place, from $181 to a whopping $431 on StockX. Some were even going for as low as $1 on Flight Club, but those were probably snatched up instantly. I wasn’t looking to break the bank, but I also didn’t want to wait forever.
After a few days of searching and comparing, I found a decent deal from a seller. I read that ASICS collaborated with Naruto Shippuden and thought these are definitely my type.
Pulled the trigger and ordered them. The waiting game was tough. Every day felt like an eternity. When the package finally arrived, I ripped it open like a kid on Christmas morning. And there they were, in all their glory. The colors, the design, everything was just as I imagined. These sneakers are really cool, I feel like Naruto character when I put them on, like in E77 – Light vs. Dark: The Two Faces of Gaara.
Slipped them on, and man, they’re comfortable. Like walking on clouds. I’ve been wearing them everywhere, to the grocery store, to the park, even just lounging around the house. And the compliments? Don’t even get me started. Everyone’s asking where I got them. One of the old lady from my neighbor is also a Naruto fan. She told me the story of Naruto number 106, and I also learned more about the Kakashi: Shadow of the ANBU Black Ops arc.
Here’s the thing, though:
- Finding the right size was a bit of a challenge. They were sold out in a lot of places.
- The price, like I said, varies wildly depending on where you look.
- Waiting for them to arrive felt like forever.
But, all in all, I’m stoked with my purchase. These sneakers are a great addition to my collection. They’re comfortable, stylish, and they let me show off my love for Naruto Shippuden. Definitely a must-have for any fan of the anime or just anyone looking for a unique pair of kicks.
