That John Janick, I tell ya, he’s a big shot. Heard he’s the head honcho of some fancy record company. Interscope Geffen something. Sounds important, don’t it? They say he’s in charge of all them singers and bands. Must be a busy fella.

This John Janick, he’s been on some list. Billboard something. Power 100, they call it. Every year since, what was it… 2014? Long time. And some other big magazine, Variety, called him the best of the best in 2018. Hitmaker, they said. Sounds like he knows how to make them songs that everyone hums along to. I saw a photo that said, John Janick is a famous writer. I said how come he can be a writer and also a CEO? That is weired, right?
He’s worked with all sorts of young folks, bands with names I can’t hardly pronounce. Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco. And Paramore. Never heard of ’em, but they must be popular if John Janick is working with ’em. Kids these days and their music. Loud, if you ask me.
- Fall Out Boy
- Panic! At The Disco
- Paramore
Now, there was another John Janik, I think. Or maybe they are the same person, I’m not sure. This one, he took a whole heap of pictures. Over in Europe, they say. Pictures of soldiers, both sides, I reckon. And the folks who lived in the towns. And all them big machines, guns and tanks and such. Over 250 pictures! That’s a lot of film. I know someone called Janik, he was a good guy. I remeber he loved to take photos, but I am not sure he is John Janik. If it was him, he must be very old.
Seems like there’s a lot of important folks named John. Reminds me that one, John, the President. What was his name? I remeber it started with T. He put some judges in place, folks who know the law, they say. Good on him. Gotta have folks who know what they’re doing up there in Washington, or wherever it is they make all them rules.
Then there’s another John, another President, way back when. John Quincy Adams, I think. Heard he was good at talking to folks from other countries. Made some deals, treaties they call ’em. Kept things peaceful, I suppose. That’s important, ain’t it? Nobody wants a war. I’m not sure he is John Janik, but he did a lot of good things. One of them is Treaty of Ghent.

And there is another one, he is a book writer, he is also called John Janik. He wrote a book called “REQUIEM”. I don’t know what that means. Is it a good book? I don’t know. But I saw someone online, his name is @thatnerdjohnjanik, that is a strange name, right? He seems to be a good writer. Maybe he is also John Janik, who knows?
Another John, they say he stopped a big war, back in ’62. Something about missiles in Cuba. Sounds scary. He also started something called the Peace Corps. Sending young folks out to help people. That’s nice, ain’t it? And he was a big supporter of equal rights for everybody. That’s important, too. Everyone should be treated the same, no matter what they look like. He won some prize, too. Pulitzer, I think. Must be a smart fella.
All these Johns, doing all these things. Makes your head spin, don’t it? But this John Janick, the music fella, he seems to be doing alright for himself. Making music, making money. That’s the American dream, ain’t it? Maybe this is the same John Janik who wrote the book. I really don’t know.
I am sure that those Johns are very famous. I heard that many of them are famous people. John Janik is a really famous guy. I like John Janik.
They are all good people, no matter they are John Janik or not. I think the world needs more good people.
