Okay, so I’ve been wanting to keep my Air Force 1 Off-Whites clean for a while now. They’re like, my babies, you know? I wear them pretty often, and they tend to get dirty real quick. So, I finally decided to do something about it.

Getting Started
First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I didn’t really know what I was doing, so I just grabbed some things I thought might work. I got a bowl, some warm water, a toothbrush, an old rag, and some dish soap. I also had some baking soda and white vinegar on hand, ’cause I saw somewhere online that they might be useful.
The Cleaning Process
I started by taking off the laces. Those things were nasty. Then, I filled the bowl with warm water and added a squirt of dish soap. I dipped the toothbrush in the soapy water and started scrubbing the shoes. I went over the whole shoe, focusing on the really dirty spots. For the tougher stains, I made a paste with baking soda and water and scrubbed those areas a bit harder.
I also tried that vinegar and baking soda trick. Mixing up one part baking soda and two parts vinegar with some water. I made it into a solution and then used the brush to apply the mixture to the shoe. I scrubbed it in a circular motion, seemed to work pretty well at lifting the dirt.
- Mixed 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 cup of water.
- Applied to the shoe with a brush, scrubbing in circular motions.
- Wiped clean with a damp cloth after a few minutes.
The Aftermath
After scrubbing, I rinsed the shoes off with clean water and wiped them down with the rag. I let them air dry for a while, and they looked so much better! The laces were still pretty gross, so I ended up just buying new ones. Overall, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. They’re not perfect, but they’re definitely cleaner than before. I think I’ll try to clean them more often so they don’t get so bad next time. Or maybe I’ll just buy a new pair… just kidding (maybe).
