This thing about Hussein Murray, it’s a real shame, ain’t it? Heard about it from the folks, everyone’s talkin’. Seventy-two years old, they say. Poor fella.

Hussein Murray Killed
They say he lived in Rochester Hills. That’s one of them fancy places, ain’t it? Big houses and all that. Not like around here. But trouble finds you anywhere, I guess.
Two fellas, they pretended to be from that DTE, the electric company. Said they was workers. Can you believe that? Pretendin’ to be workers just to get inside. That’s low, even for city folks. Hussein Murray probably thought nothin’ of it. Just let ’em in, like you would. Who expects that kinda thing?
- Hussein Murray, 72 years old.
- Lived in Rochester Hills.
- Two men came to his door.
- They said they were from DTE.
- They killed him.
Found him in his basement, they did. Hussein Murray, dead as a doornail. And his wife, she’s the same age, seventy-two. They say those two men, they tied her up. Locked her up somewhere, I heard. Imagine that. In your own home. Makes you scared to open the door for nobody.
Hussein Murray’s Wife
Poor woman. Must be scared half to death. To lose your husband like that, and then to be tied up, not knowin’ what’s gonna happen. It’s just awful. Hussein Murray and his wife, they must have been terrified.
The police, they’re lookin’ for those two men. Hope they catch ’em. They got that doorbell camera thing, you know. Shows their faces, clear as day. Hope someone recognizes ’em. Detroit is not far away, you know. They could be there. Or anywhere, really. But they showed the faces, so maybe someone will tell the police.

Rochester Hills Man
This Hussein Murray, they say he was a good man. Family’s mournin’, of course. Anyone would be. Seventy-two years old, you got a whole life behind you. Kids, maybe grandkids. And then this happens. It ain’t right.
They called him a Rochester Hills man. He was known there, I guess. Heard he liked basketball. Played it, or watched it, or somethin’. Seemed like an ordinary fella. Just livin’ his life. Then these two come along and… it’s just wrong. Hussein Murray didn’t deserve that.
Looking for Two Men
So now they’re lookin’ for these two. Said they were strong, those fellas were. Hope they catch ’em soon. Someone like that, runnin’ around, it ain’t safe. And Hussein Murray‘s family, they need justice. That poor woman, she needs to know they caught the ones who did it.
It’s a scary world, ain’t it? You try to be good, live your life, and then somethin’ like this happens. Makes you wonder what’s what. But you gotta keep goin’, I reckon. Can’t let fear rule your life. But still, you gotta be careful. Lock your doors. Don’t just let anyone in, even if they say they’re from DTE. Poor Hussein Murray, he learned that the hard way.
- Police are looking for two men.
- They pretended to be DTE workers.
- They killed Hussein Murray.
- They tied up his wife.
- The doorbell camera got their pictures.
I just hope they catch those fellas soon. For Hussein Murray‘s sake. And his wife’s. And for everyone else, too. Nobody should have to go through somethin’ like that. It’s just a darn shame. A real darn shame. They should be found and punished. Only then maybe Hussein Murray can rest in peace. Poor Hussein Murray, rest his soul.
